Stopped here on a road trip and it was definitely worth it. The food is delicious, service is fast and friendly and overall it’s a worthwhile stop! There are several vegetarian options, which was great to see, because it meant I had plenty to eat!

It’s a very casual atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff and delicious, authentic Mexican food. The lunch prices are surprisingly low, other prices are on par. Serving size is very generous – you shouldn’t leave hungry! I had the best tamale a person can find in North Dakota.

Rancho Grande Restaurant in Rugby North Dakota is the go-to place for Mexican food in the area. The portions are ample and the service prompt and efficient. The menu have all the dishes you would expect at a Mexican restaurant. The decor is homey. For those coming from out of town, the restaurant is easy to find, right on route 2 and sharing the parking lot with the geographic center of North America monument. The sign on the restaurant is faded beyond legibility but the elevated sign lets you know you’ve arrived

Best food for the price, real authentic Mexican food. Gabriel our server was nice and courteous. My horchata was amazing and great size. Food we ordered the Mexican ribeye steak with fries and chorizo.

I absolutely love this place!!! Stopped years back.. stopped a few more times, then sadly they were closed quite a bit during covid. Saw they were open and had to stop. Some of the best Mexico food I’ve ever had!

Amazing little restaurant with mexican cousine. The red sauce on the enchiladas was extremely savoury, to the point that I will miss it dearly when going back to Toronto. Please, send me the recipe. I promise I won’t share it, but just savour it at home! 🙂
