The salsa was some of the best we’ve had – and we’ve sampled a LOT of salsas!

Walked in when only one table was seated. Stood there for 10 minutes without being help. One employee was sitting towards the back on her phone. Two more employees eventually walked out. One employee went to tend to the table seated and the other walked right by me to the cash register. He stood there for about 2 minutes and then walked away without acknowledging me. I asked him for help as he was walking away and pointed at the server that was helping the table to help me. I walked out.-

We ordered the sampler platter which had one chicken tender cut in half, 2 poppers, 2 cheese sticks and shrimp quesadilla. We waited an hour for the food, it was overcooked and definitely not worth $10. My daughters nachos locos was cold when they brought it out. The salsa tasted like they had put a bottle of ketchup in the bowl and added a few cut up tomatoes. I used to love to eat here, but I will not be back.

Food experience was mixed. The salsa served with chips was bland and without any flavor. Two of us had a good experience and one had a bad experience. Ordered the Rancho Grande plate that was really without any flavor. It had a lot of food and came on two platters but zero spice and did not eat most of it. The beef was terrible. The Carne Asada plate was ok, the “steak “ was paper thin sliced beef and somewhat flavorful. The veggies were over cooked. The beans were ok but tasted like they were out of a can.

Well, I went and tried the new Mexican Restaurant in Andalusia (Montezuma) and I gotta say, Rancho is the true King of Mexican cuisine in Andalusia. That place doesn’t even hold a Candle to Rancho. Do yourself a favor if you’re considering anywhere else and just go to Rancho. They’re cheaper, the atmosphere is straight out of Mexico, and the food is 1000x better.

Lot of people waiting at the front to be seated without being greeted, we were sat down without menus, after waiting for about 15-20 minutes our drink orders were taken – still no menus by the way – maybe another 15 minutes later we finally got some of our drinks, but some were forgotten. After we finally got our menus and placed our orders, we had a group of 10 people so I understand it taking longer for food prep, however the food was brought to our table sporadically, some of us had cold food before people had food at all. The food wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t amazing.
