We were seated right away and checked on by several waitstaff throughout our meal. Mojitos were made fresh and tasted great! Chips and salsa good, guacamole delicious. We were given a cup of soup that had a nice flavor, tomato based with lots of bow tie noodles. Food came out quickly and was hot and tasty. Would go back.

For starters, the atmosphere recieved 4 stars cause the Mexican music playing was abit louder than needed but this torta was beyond great. Why ? You say. Cause they lighting toasted the bread halfs before adding the stuff.

3.8 out of 5 stars? That’s sure confusing to me. This spot is incredibly relaxing and is just good vibes. The employees are kind and treat you with kindness. The food is so good. The presentation is amazing and the food itself taste like a million bucks. Definitely a nice spot.

Love that this restaurant sits between a Mexico style grocery store and a Panaderia. Food is muy delicioso! I had the Caldo de 7 Mares (soup with 7 different kinds of seafood includes a few crab legs! Very generous portion of seafood. Beware of tiny fish bones.) To drink I had Ponche, iced punch with alcohol and small pieces of fruit, rimmed with Tajin served in a pottery cup. A little too salty for me and I prefer it hot but a nice surprise to see it on the menu. Which, by the way, can both be purchased at the grocery store next door. Parking on main street can be tricky getting out during peak traffic times as it’s a very short block & near train station. Will be back for more!

The food was not that great, I would stay away from the epanadas. Their carne asada, discada, and come sea food plates are great. The michelada was very tasty, unfortunately the aguas were a bi tto sugary. My overall experience was great because the waitress that helped us was very genuine and patient.

This is the second time they get the orders wrong. Everytime we call to order the carne asada we ask them to put the salad on a different plate. They put everything on a box like if it was food for an animal. The quality of the salad is bad and they only give you a small piece of steak. I won’t be wasting my time and money at this place anymore.

Will not be ordering from this place ever again!! I ordered 2 steak dinners and 1 sope to go. both steak dinners had spoiled meat. I brought it back and the lady that checked me out was very nice and apologetic. I told her I felt bad but I couldn’t let my family eat it. Then some other rude lady come over and has an attitude before she even says anything. She opens the container and smells the food in front of me and goes it smells fine to me. So I told her to taste it, she grabs it and is talking to the cooks, mocking me for saying it’s spoiled meat ( all in Spanish) she comes back and asks what I wanna do I told her I’ll take anything that is not steak. She goes but what if you don’t like it and decide to bring it back?? EXCUSE ME? I didn’t decide I didn’t like the steak… it was spoiled! She’s so rude and condescending. So I said fine give me my money back. Then another lady comes in (I think she was a head cook) and she tells me that maybe it’s the seasoning I don’t like. I told her no bc I order the steak dinner often and it never smells or tastes like that. She then asks me if she can make me something else and the rude lady interrupts and says no bc I’ll just bring it back. Finally I get my money back and I can leave took much longer than it should have. The rude lady made it a bigger deal than it should’ve of been. No need to treat a customer like that. I could’ve gone in there and raised hell or called the health department. I recommend rancho nuevo to my customers. NOT ANYMORE! Birria Jalisco will have my recommendation and business.
