We went July 3rd 2023. It was alright. We had enchiladas and a quesadilla. It’s pretty bland. I heard Mexican is supposed to be? But I’m not sure. The waitress was super nice and we did eat almost all of it.

Never disappoints! Quick service and friendly wait staff. The portions are quite large, though, so definitely come hungry! 10/10 recommend! If youre looking for recommendations, the primo special is where it’s at!

We had there $3.50 margaritas one frozen and one on the rocks! They were both good but we liked the one on the rocks better no salt. The beef fajitas were great! we will be back next tue. would like to add ore server was also very nice and fast! great job!!

As a Mexican in Rochester I always told myself I would never go to other Mexican restaurants in New York because none of them make good authentic Mexican food. Rancho Viejo solidified the reason why I don’t go to Mexican restaurants in Rochester. The food was flavorless sloppy and to be honest I think old because my stomach was not feeling good after eating it. It’s a shame this Is The food that is representing Mexican cuisine in Rochester. Trust me this is not what Mexican food should look or taste like. This is just a place to get cheap drinks and get wasted with your friends not a place to enjoy a good Mexican meal or even just a good meal overall. I hate to be so critical of a Mexican restaurant but this really puts shame to the food we eat and enjoy in Mexico. The staff was very attentive and kind and I had no issues with service overall just the food was horrible and not a good representation of what Mexican food should be.

Go here! The food, atmosphere, and service are exceptional! We showed up on a busy Sunday evening. Our food was running a little late so the staff gave us a complimentary beer and margarita to enjoy while we waited. The food was amazing! Get the carnitas!! We will be coming back.
