I had been wanting to try Randy’s for several years and was given the opportunity recently for lunch and took it! I must start by saying I had previously been to Patsy’s several times, each was a poor experience, so my expectations for Randy’s weren’t very high, even though I’m a very long time patron of GAR and absolutely LOVE the concept, WHEN DONE RIGHT!!

Randy’s is one of the best steakhouses in the dmv. We loved the tuna sushi and the lobster bisque but the perfectly cooked, tender, steak was definitely the highlight. We also had to ask for extra croissants so make sure to walk in with an appetite.

From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything was SUPERB! I did not want to like Randy’s as much as I did because it’s quite expensive but my husband and I will definitely return as our first experience was enjoyable. First off, the croissants…omg, melt in your mouth!! I could’ve eaten those alone and been satisfied. My starter was the Ahi Tuna Tartare (so fresh) and the Pressed Spicy Tuna Sushi (delicious!!) My main course was the Day Boat Scallops. I’d never had scallops with creamed corn and andouille but it was amazing! My husband had the Chopped BLT Salad and the Twin Chicken Breasts (sooo juicy) with Brussels Sprouts. My Bourbon Smash was so smooth, I expected more of a kick but was pleasantly surprised. Michah was our server and he was a sweetheart, very patient with me and all of my questions, lol! The manager gifted us with a couple of prime and wagyu meatballs and OMG, soooo good!! Thank you, Randy’s, for such an enjoyable evening and fabulous food, we will be back!!

We went to Randy’s and it was good! We ordered a Tamahawk steak and it was tasty. I ordered the scallops dish for dinner and it was amazing. We also had some mac and cheese and it was yummy with the crispy stuff at the top. Def recommend although they aren’t the best steakhouse in the area! Chocolate cake was rich and tasty!

Randy’s offers a nice variety of steak and seafood options. If you like oysters and clams, the seafood tower/platter appetizer options are a must try. The scallops are very tasty and both steaks we tried were both tender and flavorful. The Wagyu ribeye cap is so tender and worth the price to try. The NY strip is also a very good cut of meat, it will not disappoint. The ambience inside is warm and inviting, the staff is extremely friendly and for dessert try to the sundae which comes with a tower of topping options. The truffle mac&cheese, loaded mashed potatoes and the roasted brussel sprouts were all delicious. The Bourbon Smash was a great cocktail choice. Randy’s is a definite stop for the diner willing to spend the extra money for a quality dining experience.
