I had a great experience going here! There’s a few things that are important to know ahead of time. For example, you can only pay in cash and there’s no way to eat in. However, the atmosphere in the lil place is truly very welcoming and inviting, even with the small space! There was also plenty of places to park at the time we got there. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich and my boyfriend got a breakfast burrito and we were both impressed and satisfied with the serving size and food quality. Not only that but the prices were incredibly generous and reasonable! We’ll definitely be coming again soon!

5 enthusiastic stars for quality, consistency, prices. Years since I’ve been there and was not at all disappointed upon my return. It happened to be Friday so I was oh so ready for the Calamari special. In line listening to others it seems this sandwich is well known with folks lining up all talking calamari and hoping it wouldn’t run out before getting to the counter. Inside it doesn’t look like anything has changed since I first wandered into this neighborhood place. Like a dive bar for sandwiches. Prices and portions are kinda ridiculous for this day and age, especially on Monterey peninsula. $9 calamari sandwich is thick steak meat like abalone. Lettuce tomato and tartar round it out on the same soft seedy bun I remember. So glad to have made it back and am already thinking about next time. That turkey club…. Drool with the bacon. Seriously. But don’t tell anyone any of this cause I don’t want to have to wait in a longer line next time 😉

This place was amazing. Super friendly guys and they treated my daughter so nicely. The breakfast sandwich was huge. Well worth the money and great to support local businesses.

Hole in the wall and out if the way sandwich shop. Small place with only fridges and a counter inside. Only one bench outside to sit. Menu is small but features classics as well as specials. I choose one of the David’s Special which tasted like a meatball sub but with sliced beef. They have assorted chips and drinks as well.

Yep, ask the locals, they all know Randy’s place, that’s what I did and wasn’t disappointed. It’s just a tiny little place that has great sandwiches and excellent prices. I was pleasantly surprise to get a “real” NY style pile of meat made perfectly. Grab a bag of chips a drink order your sandwich and then move along… next person please, that’s their style. I dropped a pin on this place… I’ll def be back
