So we were looking for a bbq place close to home to try out. YES finding a GOOD bbq place here in Texas is NOT as easy as you would think lol. So I got the plate that came with ribs,sausage,mac&cheese,and corn. My partner got beans,ribs,brisket,and mashed potatoes with his plate. Both come with cornbread which is not your typical jiffy,it has jalapeno bits in it and is thick and has a settle sweetness which is nice so ok on that! As for my meats,the ribs were decent but not as tender as I had imagine, was missing that flavor I wanted..sausage has a unique flavor and I was just as surprised I liked it seeing that eckridge is my favorite lol. Corn was good but wasn’t crisp but not a deal breaker. Mac&cheese was somewhat creamy so decent.Partner said the sauce should have a more “bbq” taste instead of being spicy..ribs should be more seasoned on there own and a bit more tender..mashed potatoes were ok,gravy was the main attraction…Tried it but wouldn’t come back again based on my own taste buds.

Absolutely 5 star BBQ! My brother (also named Randy) and I stopped in earlier today. Let me tell you, the moment we opened the door we knew we had found the right place for authentic & delicious Texas BBQ. The brisket & pulled pork were amazing…tender with multiple layers of flavors all culminating in a taste explosion second to none. In addition, the portions are huge! Run, don’t walk, to Randy’s Smokehouse and bring your appetite.

Best burger I have had in a very long time. All fresh! Even the bun was good! The fries were so crispy and lightly seasoned to perfection. It was served hot and fresh! The staff is very friendly! Going to try to make it on Tuesday for the Smoked Meatloaf Special! Lucky I got the picture before I devoured the burger!. My partner got the BBQ Stuffed Baked Potato! It was very big and very delicious!

Ribs sucked. I was hoping for something that fell off the bone. Brisket was alright but I wanted super tender. It was just ehhh. Mac and cheese bland to the core. Green beans GROSS! Never going back. Thank god I only spent 40 and nothing more. No pickels?? That a must in Texas with bbq! I only gave one star so I can put a post. They get no stars. Lol Kbye 🙂

2 for the quantity but the taste was nothing. It was dry and my fixings were frozen then thawed. I could tell because the onion wasn’t fresh at all! You can tell in my pictures it had that transparent look after onion thaws out. Pickles didn’t even have a dam pickle taste. *Were not crunchy* I was that kind of hungry were you just pull over and eat because it smells good. Man I took a bite and was completely disappointed! Worst BBQ I have ever had! I wanted to cry cuz I was famished. I just ate the meat Because it was eatable just won’t catch me going there again. The disappointment was real! Sad.

We were on our way to a different bbq place, when we drove past this one. We took a chance and turned around to go to Randy’s. No regrets. Chicken, good; Ribs, good; Chopped pork, good; Brisket, good; Cornbread, good; banana pudding, good. Sides were just okay, but that’s not what we came for. Fries were quite good.
