Quite possibly one of the best Italian meals I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. This location is cozy/small, so be sure to make a reservation! We arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation and had a quick drink at the bar and were seated 5 minutes after we arrived. We ordered and our food arrived in about 10 minutes! We got meatball marinara, rigatoni pomodoro, bread, and a glass of red wine each. Perfect portions as well. Highly recommend

Very happy we got to try RAO’s! Great dinner to the sound of the best 80’s hits.

Portions are very mussels were rancid. Entrees don’t come with a piece of potato or a piece of potato or a piece of vegetable . Pasta portions are very small not a good value. Veal Marsala was very tasty came with no potatoes no vegetables. You essentially get 5 oz of meat for $39.

Best Italian food I’ve had since moving from NY! Wow wow wow!! The ambiance, service, food, dessert and espresso martinis are incredible! Every single person working there is so friendly warm and kind. It felt like being at home with my family. Rao’s in Hollywood is a true gem and I am forever a loyal customer! I also loved meeting Johnny Roastbeef! What an angel of a human!!! Love love love!

Great service. Great atmosphere. Mediocre Italian food. Chicken Parm tasted like it was made the day before. The pasta is consistent texture but the sauces miss the mark. Bread was old and stale. Wine and cocktails were good. If you want authentic Italian American cuisine, there are better choices.

I absolutely loved this place. The food is amazing! My boyfriend and I came from Texas specifically to dine here and it did not disappoint. I definitely recommend this place, and it was a nice touch to have the manager visit each table to see how you were doing and to make sure you were okay.

Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly Manager and staff, fantastic service..excellent Pork Chops. I traveled from Corona Riverside County. We could use a Rao’s here in Corona or Riverside. I can highly recommend Rao’s to anyone!!! ♥️

Awesome experience from start to finish at Rao’s Hollywood. Service was excellent from the minute we walked through the door. We started with the Mozzarella In Carrozza which was perfection. The Caesar salad was phenomenal. For my main course, I ordered the chicken Milanese and it was excellent. My partner enjoyed the Penne Alla Vodka. Kids loved their pasta dishes. I cannot wait to return.

This was the absolutely best Italian meal I’ve had since leaving New York City! Their Sunday Sauce special was out of this world delicious. It easily feeds 3-4 people, but I would recommend ordering extra meatballs because everyone will want at least one. I have never had a meatball so delicious since my grandmother’s. Service was impeccable and you have to love John Willians, who was the most personable guy, walking around chatting with customers and stopping to take pictures with fans (he’s such a great actor known for more than just Goodfellas)! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and there was nothing that wasn’t perfect. I can’t wait to return!

Many Angelenos don’t realize they have the best NY Italian food right in the heart of Hollywood. I almost didn’t want to leave this review because I fear the Hollywood Rao’s will get too popular and end up being a place for only celebrities, politicians, and “connected” folks like the NY one is. This is as close to a perfect restaurant as you can get, from the food, to the ambience, to the service. Be sure to come with an appetite.
