We came in at 8 on a Sunday and were told the kitchen was closed (understandable as most of the businesses on the street were already closed). I asked if they had anything quick by chance, maybe some empanadas. The gentleman (I believe the owner) said he could do that, and we ordered a beef, a chicken, and a cheese empanada. They were fried, super crispy and not at all greasy. The filling was so delicious, and came with plenty of sauce on the side. And at $2 each, it’s an absolute steal! Definitely go if you’re looking for delicious and well priced food

Worst experience ever. Super expensive for the amount of food you get, food was cold, slow service to the point people were walking out. The place looked like a construction site. I will never go there again or recommend anyone to go there. I wouldn’t even give it a star.

Clearly I asked them for guineito instead of rice and they did not call to tell me that they did not have it if that was the case. I can’t eat rice and because of this business, I don’t have good customer service, I have to go without eating since I’ve had surgery and I can’t go out and claim or have them make a change. I also asked for extra garlic sauce for the mofongo and they didn’t send it either, meaning they don’t even read the orders. Very disappointed I don’t even want to eat anymore.
