A pretty interesting place with some cool food options. The host was super friendly and our server was quite helpful, almost visited the table too many times to check on us (until the end when he disappeared for a bit). The Marinated Tofu Banh Mi was super yummy, as well as the Hanger Steak and White Chocolate Mousse. I will say the place could do with some cleaning though.

Amazing restaurant with amazing owners, workers, and most importantly food!! The staff there is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the owners do a lot of work to make this the special place it is as well as chatting with most of the guests who come in. Lots of unique and tasty dishes (highly recommend the hillbilly egg rolls) as well as some more traditional southern cooking. Would expect to spend $20-40 per person before tip, and it’s well worth it!!!

Soup of the day was chicken barley and was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits and they were both great but the grits were fabulous and by far the star. Had the caprese for an app and was well pleased. Service was wonderful and we enjoyed our meal there.

Walking in the door is like stepping into a New Orleans restaurant. Upstairs seating with a wrought-iron rail, antique mirrors and prints adorn the walls. The service was great from the moment we were greeted through the meal and the food was fantastic offering everything from shrimp n grits to shephards pie. While they do take reservations we were seated immediately. If you prefer, they have a large outdoor seating area on the historic mall walk. Pricing was reasonable and servings were generous. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.

We ate here last night and though we enjoyed it and the staff was friendly, it wasn’t great. I had their gumbo with shrimp, chicken, anduoille sausage, and okra (without which it wouldn’t be gumbo). It was actually very tasty, but there was very little of the of the promised main attractions. Maybe three smallish shrimp, an almost adequate amount of sausage, very little okra and I’m not sure I found any chicken. My wife ordered shrimp and grits. There were certainly enough shrimp, but the sauce was so greasy, she couldn’t eat the grits. I don’t think I would go back there. It’s more like a minus three. Sorry restaurant owners, but this is an accurate account of our experience. We weren’t even asked how we liked the meal or I would have simply shared this then.

No one at the host stand, had to go inside to ask bartender. Got a good outside table which was great but service was awful. Placed order at 7, notified at 735 that they had to make more batter for the fish and it was in the fryer now. Never mind that the people who got seated 10 min after us and ordered after us got their fish around 720. We finally received our bland food (fish and chips/cavatelli) at 745. These were not dishes that should take long at all. Server rarely checked on us and seemed annoyed we were frustrated by the food delay. First time here, never again.

We enjoyed brunch at Rapture while vacationing in the area. I wish I knew our waiter’s name – he was the best. We sat outside, it was a beautiful day, the food was awesome (and reasonably priced), and a YouTube celebrity sat next to our table which my daughter loved. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Rapture!

Host was extremely friendly. Denyelle was our server and started off friendly. She didn’t check id’s, only asked if we were 21. Gave me a rude “congratulations” when I told her my age. Later on, she fixed our wobbly table but not without disciplining me for trying to help her by pushing down on the lower end of the table. She then came back later and doubled down on why I shouldn’t have done that. I had to ask another server for a box and our check, but still had to wait for Denyelle. Extremely rude, absolutely no reason to take YOUR anger out on others when you have no idea what they may be dealing with. Inconsiderate, inappropriate, and ridiculous. Food was fine.

Avoid this place. Came in for a quick drink while waiting for a reservation down the street. The older woman bartender was visibly (and audibly) upset we ordered mixed drinks off their cocktail menu. She complained to bar regulars that she would rather pour us beer than make an old fashioned while standing 5ft away from us. Just FYI for the bartenders people sitting at the bar can hear you.

First off, our server, Amanda, was exceptionally amazing! There was outdoor and indoor seating, and we had an awesome time outside. The cocktails had names that were particularly eye catching and politically relevant. Needless to say the Mueller report cocktail had ingredients that had been redacted which made it an intriguing choice. I thought it was vodka based, but our server could neither confirm nor deny. Haha. You can check it out, and let the world know what you think. The stormy daniels cocktail and fried tomatoes appetizer were both great too. I tasted the pork chops with greens and black eyed peas and thought it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend a visit.
