Yummy! There aren’t a lot of vegetarian choices in the area, so I appreciate this place. I got the vegan oxtail and it was bomb. It was jack fruit based and well seasoned. I would have liked it spicier, but the deep.flsvor was on point. The portion was crazy for the price, I’m having leftovers tomorrow! The dish came with sides of rice, beans, and cabbage. So filling. And gotta say, Jah would never give the power to a bald head. Power to the hair!

Rasta Kitchen is a fantastic destination for lovers of Jamaican cuisine and vegetarians alike. Their menu offers a delightful array of dishes, and the macaroni and cheese and vegan fish are standout favorites. The pasta is cooked to perfection and coated with a creamy, cheesy sauce that is both comforting and flavorful. Additionally, the candied yams are a sweet and savory delight, perfectly balancing the natural sweetness of the yams with a touch of caramelization. The service provided at Rasta Kitchen is exemplary, with attentive and friendly staff (Kevin) ensuring a pleasant dining experience. If you’re seeking a taste of Jamaica with excellent vegetarian options, combined with great, warm service, Rasta Kitchen is a must-try restaurant.

Person cooking food seems very careless. I ordered a jerk salmon cheesesteak. I’ve been a vegan/pescatarian for 10years. Never in my lifetime thought I’d be carelessly given undercooked chicken instead of salmon. I thought my sandwich was just very overcooked salmon, having not eaten chicken in a very long time, I attributed the taste to the sauce. It was also very hard to recognize the meat until the end when the sandwich fell apart. I really wish I was making this up. Thankfully I stopped eating meat for religious reasons and not because I’m severely allergic. Everyone involved should be ashamed.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and let me tell you I was literally blown away. We ordered vegan brown stew chicken, jerk salmon, pasta, bbq chicken and a few sides. EVERYTHING was delicious!!! The food was full of flavor without excessive salt. I’m sad it took me so long to find this .

Very nice people but my food was really bland. Especially the rice and peas. Spice it up a bit guys. Mushy cabbage. Oily plantains. Ended up tossing most the food in the trash, and I hate wasting food

Extremely pleasant owner, took her time to make sure our to-go boxes were more than full. She also asked our names and greeted us to make us feel welcome along with having us try a signature dish, I’d give more stars but unfortunately I cant, cannot recommend enough.
