Awesome authentic Neapolitan pizza. Every pizza on the menu is good and it’s BYOB. A bit of a learning curve understanding the process, but can’t be upset about a place being popular and doing good business! Would recommend to anyone if you just want a good pizza.

My favorite pizza place in the area! The pizza is amazing (chewy dough, flavorful sauces, and delicious toppings), the staff is friendly, and the owner is the one of the nicest people you’ll meet. To address some other reviews, yes, you have to call ahead a couple days in advance and reserve your dough. Also, yes, the pizza is a bit pricey for the amount you get. However, you get what you pay for and in this case it’s quality. I’d rather pay slightly more here for amazing pizza that I dream about then pay a little less for average everyday pizza somewhere else. There are around 8 tables depending on the layout/reservations, but I like that feeling of it being a small family pizza place. Plus, it’s BYOB! We actually save a little money by bringing our own drinks. Place a reservation, reserve your dough, and enjoy the experience.

This was the most authentic pizza I’ve had since actually eating it in Italy. Ravanesi is special – it’s cozy and unpretentious, the staff is friendly and fast, and the experience is so much fun. I loved the idea of having to reserve dough and that pizza is the only thing on their menu. Their pies are cooked right in front of you in an oven that was flown in from Naples; each pie is made to order and cooks for 90 seconds at 900 degrees. My husband ordered a pie that was half sopressata piccante and half salsiccia; I ordered a half bianca/half filetti di pomodori pie. We split the Nutella dessert pizza with strawberry purée. All three were excellent. We can’t wait to go back!

Pizza is outstanding! Staff incredibly nice. While we were waiting for a to go pie, since it was our first time there, the pizza chef made a personal size pizza and gave us a slice for free! You must make a reservation, even for to go orders, since they make the dough and cheese in house daily. Plan several days ahead for this place, it’s worth it. Will be back with my wife who can’t do dairy, and youngest daughter who can’t do tomato, since they have a pie each can enjoy.
