Very clean establishment with a variety of Caribbean offerings. In the photo is the brown stew chicken. The chicken is great. The rice could use some work – maybe the rice we had was old. The fries are also great, but very small portions so not a great value there. The mac and cheese was loved by some members in my party, but I was not a fan. I’d still recommend this place for sure as the Caribbean food offerings were simple and flavorful, the establishment was clean, and the employees were very friendly and welcoming.

Food was tasty. I prefer a bit more salt and spice but the flavors did shine. Cabbage was perfectly tender. Ox tail very tender. Rice and beans a bit on the dry side but it was at the end of the day. Ginger bear was absolutely spectacular, very strong. Ordered online and got a discount. Will return.

My experience today was exceptional. Both ladies on the counter are pleasant. The food tastes delicious and well prepared. I bought a curry goat with double greens on the side, eschavich red snapper with double cabbage, rice, and peas. The prices went up just like other food in the market. But it’s all worth it!!

My experience at Rays left something to be desired. I’ll start. with the food. I ordered the stewed snapper with rice and peas and greens. The food was good but definitely could have used a little more seasoning. It was still good overall.

Oh-Em-Gee!!! This place is amazing! Curry chicken, flavorful, perfect amount of heat and spice. Rice and peas, perfect! Cabbage and greens , also perfection. Beef and chicken patties, the crust is flaky and delicious, filling, excellent. But the star…. the absolute most amazing, fabulous thing we got, Oxtail! Wow! Cooked perfectly, depth, well balanced. You can tell that the people making the food, love what they are doing! The service was fast and friendly. The place is clean and there is a great outdoor space to eat.

I recommend Ray’s if you like Jamacian / Caribbean food. The menu is extensive so most people should be able to find something they will like. The food is very good and well balanced with different and complementary flavors. Don’t be in a hurry if you choose to dine in. However it is worth the wait.

The goat curry and dhal puri was really good. The beef patties were the best I’ve ever had. I wish they served dhal. The mango chutney was really good but very sweet. They’re about 1hr away from but well worth the drive. Wish they would move closer. The restaurant is clean inside.
