Small, quite little place in Wellsville. Food is not good. We had raw potatoes & burnt eggs for breakfast. The potatoes had an awful after taste to them. And the sausage is not breakfast sausage, it was Italian sausage! What an odd mix of flavors for breakfast! Service was good though. But we both left our full plates just about how they came out.

Food was amazing! One server and quiet but she was the best and super attentive. Loved the old diner/western atmosphere. Great meal if you’re camping and want to skip a campfire meal/get rained out like us!

Had the huevos Ranchero. The eggs were cooked well the rice was like microwave uncle Ben’s beans seemed ti be canned with cheese thrown on top and microwaved, the avocado was served with shell on and bruises cut out. The suspended ceiling needs to be cleaned or have tiles replaced around the AC vent. It’s super dusty. Wait staff was friendly but, still had to ask for drink refills. If I lived in the area, I definitely wouldn’t frequent this place.

A down to earth diner with quality service staff. What surprised me was how for the food is! Ray’s has become a regular stop for me and they easily outshine other more pretentious and expensive restaurants.

I had reviewed Rays for breakfast about a year ago and I had to delete the review because this time my breakfast was perfect and delicious. A big improvement . The only pictures I would have would be of an empty plate.

First off I called and tried to order for myself and a 90 year old woman. I only wanted 1 broasted chicken breast and she wanted 3 or 4 pieces of dark meat( to save for a few meals). So I was going to get a total of 3 two pieces one with a breast and a dark meat and the other 2 with 2 dark meats. The lady informed me that you could only do white or dark and could not mix the two. I told her I would be happy to pay an upcharge but she was not having it. So she said it would be 30 minutes. I got there a few minutes early and was waiting around. The staff was very nice but after 5 minutes the waitress said she had accidentally missed putting in the order for one of the 2 pieces and it was going to be 15 more minutes and $7.95 more than she originally said. I believe that she should have at the least offered half off for her mistake, or even put in a free piece of cake or something. When we get back home the box with the mashed potatoes busted or got squished with the other food and it was all over the place. Also the Cole slaw was warm and there was lettuce in the broasted chicken. The chicken was good, but the pieces were small. The mashed potatoes were also good. I just wasn’t happy with the mistake and the fact that they didn’t try to make it right.
