Just left Ray’s. We had the most amazing meal. I could tell the food was a very high quality. When I commented to our waitress she explained that the food is picked fresh weekly by the owner. We met Ray tonight. He was a gracious humble man that knows how to cook. I would highly recommend.

First time visiting this place. Had dinner and ordered the special ribeye steak and had a kids dinner if chicken and fries. The steak I ordered was medium well and came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (carrot broccoli and cauliflower blend). The steak came medium rare medium well. But cut around the rate parts as was sharing with kid. Potatoes good. Veggies cooked but not overly so. Service was great. Atmosphere is so so as older home converted on corner. Not a lot of parking except cross the street. Seats are old in most cases old wood benches with backs to make booths. Not super comfy for long periods. But the food makes up for it. This place absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. The bar was clean, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, best burger and fries I’ve ever had at only $12 for a huge burger and a pile of fries. The beer was good to, average price but all glasses where clean and frosted. I’ll be back!

Great food, fresh cut fries were delicous, the waitress was overwhelmed and still kept up with everything. Only complaint was it took over 30 minutes to pay the bill, we had to wait for the batender. The service after the meal is lacking, felt like we were hostages waiting to leave.

All their food is so delicious and prepared perfectly. They go the extra mile. The fries are freshly cut. The burger buns are grilled. The chicken is juicy, and the lettuce is fresh. And there’s a bar. It’s a great place for any meal. This review was from before the place became Ray’s. I haven’t been there yet, as I have moved away from the area, so I have no idea if they changed anything.

What a wonderful experience!!! The service was friendly and prompt, the pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and very plentiful, the seafood bisque was to die for . Congratulations to the new owners for resurrecting the old Ontario Hotel into Ray’s Kitchen. We’ll be back very soon.
