We circled the shopping center a couple of times till we parked and I went and peaked in the window to see if the address was correct. It’s a very limited menu right now after they recently reopened. Crawfish meat pies were the best!! The catfish plates were delicious also. Great service from them, they were friendly, place was clean. We have them on a list to revisit next trip into NOLA.

We went for a family reunion meet and greet dinner. Half the menu was not available. All they had was fried shrimp, fries or wings with fries. They have bottled drinks but were out of their punch and lemonade. They did have sweet tea, but only had 1 bottle left. We were not given a receipt with our items totaled. The waitress showed us the total on her phone calculator and a receipt is sent to your phone, which is also not itemized. The bar is fully stocked though.

Came in from out of town, and went to eat. At around 5:00 in the evening on 02/20/2023, staff was leisurely sitting out on the front porch with an empty house. After watching us enter, and waiting to be seated, they entered the restaurant to inform me and my party of 3 that “the kitchen is closed”.

The restaurant definitely did not live up to the reviews given to it. The service was poor and the food was at the most mediocre. We ate the gumbo and the Shrimp Etoufee and it literally had 9 bat leaves in it..

Amazing catfish!! It was seasoned well and steaming hot arriving within 5 minutes. The inside was juicy and moist and the outside was crispy. Everyone was super nice. It’s a bar and I don’t drink or it would have been a way better experience, so I got a $5 lemonade. $10 for 2 giant catfish pieces, fries with old bay seasoning maybe, toast that I think had garlic butter, and a salad. So much for super cheap and awesome seasoning on everything.
