Great BBQ place. They cater as well. We had a brisket sandwich and a tri tip sandwich. They had ribs and turkey but we’re out of them so hopefully we can try them next time. Loved both. They also sell jerky.

Terrific local place. Great food, in a lovely Idaho setting (main st, hiway, with spectacular mountain/valley views). Lots of nice outdoor seating, home-made cole slaw and various kinds of potato offerings makes this place special and unique.

This was a nice experience. The ribs were not as good as our homemade, but the reubens were very good. Service was friendly and efficient. Beer on tap selection is large with a wide variety of northwestern brands. We would go back.

I love BBQ and I respect the craft. I ordered sliced brisket and I guarantee I didn’t get brisket. I got roast. Little to no smoke flavor and the BBQ sauce was so bad I couldn’t try it twice. The baked potatoe was great, the beans didn’t suck and the roll was great. Service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for a small town. I got more of a bar vibe than a BBQ joint. I was told by several people I needed to go and get the tri tip. Maybe, if I am in town again and I am bored I will go back to try the tri tip. I won’t ever be ordering the “Brisket” again. I can get roast at home. I wish I had taken a picture.

We decided to go to the Real Deal Smokehouse because of all the recommendations and online reviews. It was ok. Looks better than it tastes. I can’t explain it. The prime rib in this part of the US is cooked differently than where I’m from. I personally like it better in NC. Not a bad meal, just not my favorite.
