I’ve been to this restaurant twice with a friend who lives in Birmingham and have LOVED it. I love it so much I want to open a franchise in Nashville. I was so excited to pass through Birmingham today and bring a friend who had never been before. We looked at Google and it said they closed at 8:30pm. We arrived at 2:13pm and from the moment we walked in we felt like we weren’t supposed to be there. They had the demeanor as if they were closed or going to close at 2:15. We looked around and checked their Instagram to try to see if we were mistaken to realize they close at 3pm. My food came out cold which also made me think they were closing at 2:15. It’s a fast casual place so I was so confused why we would feel rushed and spoken to rudely 45 minutes before close. Not to mention there was 3 of us, it’s not like we walked in with a huge party. Anyways, very sad day!

The place has a homey vibe and the food has a very fresh and healthy taste. We had two appetizers, fried okra and sweet potato fries. The fries were not great but I would recommend the okra. We were pleased with everything else that we ordered. Very friendly staff.

Green peas and carrots were not cooked well. The meat seemed like it may have been frozen then heated back up, especially since it only took a minute. Definitely not worth the price. We should have went to the restaurant next door I think. Sorry, but just not that great.
