Really amazing experience. The wait time wasn’t too long considering I had a bigger lunch order. Everything was delicious! The cheeseburger, the fries, the chili cheese fries, both po boys, and the malt shake! The PO boy bread is fantastic; just soft enough but not soggy, and not so crunchy it hurts. They were super filling and generous on all the fillings. And the fries were so good! Crispy but soft, well seasoned and this is with a 15 minute drive!

While ordering this Missourian never felt more northern. Told the waitress this was my first time her. She helped me choose a shrimp Po-boy and a banana milkshake. The po-boy normally has lettuce though. Six shrimp on half a sandwich. Real shrimp. Fortunately two states and a crick usually separate me from their banana shakes! If you’re new to the area look for the cruise themed Christmas tree just south of their building also on the west side of US Highway 49. America has maintained her Independence because of families like the Rebel Dip family. And that’s not a boast or brag, just the truth, look at the pictures.

The best burgers you can get amidst all these generic fast food places close to it. It has a nice vibe to it, and the staff are plenty friendly. Ice cream is good, and all the food options are all good. Food is always served hot, and the ice cream is awesome.

The food is good, but the girl at the window that took my order was so rude and acted like she hated her life. If you can’t work with people and treat people with kindness, don’t work with the public. The girl who gave me my food through the other window was really nice though.

If you’re curious about this place (for a burger, at least) don’t bother. I can’t speak to anything else because that’s all I ordered, but I wasn’t a fan. I took one bite of the burger and it was the weirdest tasting patty ever. I didn’t finish the meal. Maybe they just were having a bad day or something, but I won’t be back. Sonic (which I don’t even love) is better than this place.

My daughter and I arrived in Gulfport for a three day getaway. Had dinner at Longhorn restaurant and did a lil shopping. We decided to get ice cream on our way back to our hotel. Went to Rebel Dip, and the drive up window was full. So I parked and we got out and walked to the walk up window. There was several workers inside. After standing there for about 3 minutes, no one ever came to get our orders. We waited again a few minutes and no one acknowledged our presence. At this point, I knocked on the window and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. I asked were they taking orders at the window? The girl that was closest to the window, said yes. And she said just a minute. At this time we left! It was obvious that they didn’t want to serve us! For future reference, put up your sign to alert black customers that you don’t want their business and I’m sure they won’t stop there! But pure stupidity is what I call them! We took our business to ChillVille Creamery! They were super nice and inviting! Black people, don’t go to Rebel Dip, they don’t want you there! I should have known just from the name, not to go there!
