I REALLY liked this food and all the staff were very friendly. We had the tofu vegetable dish, pork buns, bbq pork and their specialty drink flight. Each item was made to perfection. Nothing was overly salty and the flavors were on point. There were a few factors that made me give this restaurant a 4 star. First, it was really hard to get our server’s attention. Second, there was just a bit too much casino and congestion in the atmosphere. Finally, I could have easily looked over the slow service and atmosphere if the price were lower. I’m ok with a higher price point, but there has to be more than just good food to earn the higher value. All that said, if you have a resort credit from your Amex fine resorts, I’d highly recommend using it here, especially if you don’t mind a more casino like atmosphere.

Food was very very good before “ best Chinese place for New England “ food presentation and best chef and very clean location and you can bring your kids even inside casino, they have separated entrance if you planning to bring kids, just noticed recently the food that we always order not same taste like before “ thinking they have new chef now” I wish they have same authentic Chinese recipes like before but overall still good.

Took a break from the table games to try the Peking Duck at Red 8. It’s cooked perfectly. The half portion was big enough for 2 people maybe even 3 to share. Definitely coming back for the duck. And try other menu items in the future.

Came here for dinner and was very disappointed with 2 dishes. Their General Tso’s chicken was dry and burnt with very little flavor. Lots of small burnt pieces. Inconsistent quality, very disappointing flavor and restaurant experience. Food texture and feel was rubbery and tough. Other dish was also very disappointing, bland, and lacked flavor even basic salt and pepper seemed to be missing from both dishes.

Came here for dinner with a group reserved in a private room. We ordered Peking duck , lobsters , steamed fish , veggies , crabs , oysters, scallops , clams and fried rice . It was nice quiet setting inside the private room and we have our host and servers . Pretty good services but the food was nowhere near Chinatown’s authenticity and flavors. It was pretty basic and more Americanize Chinese food. We enjoyed the company and atmosphere here since that’s the only upside.

If you’re reading all of the negative reviews and reconsidering going here— WAIT, read mine first! We spend a ton of time at the Encore in Las Vegas so we had high expectations…And they were exceeded. I asked for a chicken pad Thai with a 8/10 spice level.THEY DELIVERED. It was the most wonderful, spicy, non greasy pad Thai I’ve ever had. Honestly, I ate way too much because it was so divine. My fiancé had the pineapple fried rice— it was gorgeous, and delicious. Ricky was our server and he was extremely attentive, noticing when I was on the last sip of my glass of wine, checking in at the right moments. If you want exceptional service ask to have him as your server. The manager stopped by to see how everything was, and made sure the pad Thai wasn’t too spicy (you’ll see why when you see the photo)— we let him know it was PERFECT. The crab Rangoon and the BBQ pork buns were incredible as well. Ended with the black tea and flower tea. What a delightful dinner! The negative reviews are BS. Dine here and thank me later. THANK YOU!

The food in this place is extremely great along with the atmosphere. Dennis was our waiter and very helpful with the menu along g with teaching me how to use the chop sticks. It’s a must place to go if you like Asian cuisine if you’re ever around or near the Encore.
