At Red Boy, we’ve been serving up quality pizza ever since opening our first family-owned and -operated restaurant back in 1969. Word spreads fast, and now we’ve expanded to offer California our delicious sourdough-crust pies. You should know we do things the old-school way but with a twist — we love our local community, and it is our mission to source as many local ingredients as possible. Our sourdough is vegan, coming from a mother dough dating back to 1928. Our pizza sauce is made fresh in-house using California tomatoes and red wine (with more spices than you care to know about). And we use 100% Real California Gold Cheese. We even offer a gluten-free crust! We’re more than just a pizzeria.

My wife and I live in Santa Rosa and can’t really find a consistent pizza restaurant in our area. I woke up this Sunday morning and decided I wanted a slice! We both thought the same thing. Red Boy pizza in petaluma for a good pizza and a chill space to hang out. Their outdoor patio is quite and clean. Their service is good and it doesn’t take too long to get your food out from the kitchen. We had some French fries to start, which you wouldn’t think a pizza restaurant would have good fries… but they were great! (Fresh and Hot). We ordered an extra large pizza so we could have left overs. Pizza was cooked perfectly. Satisfied with the undercarriage and the cheese pull is great! Highly recommend!

The service was agonizingly slow. It took an hour and a half for 2 salads and a medium pizza. There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant. I felt ignored by the waitress after multiple attempts to get her attention. The Novato location is much better in terms of service and attentiveness by the employees. The pizza was delicious when it finally arrived.

Red Boy had just what we were looking for. We had a large group that didn’t necessarily want pizza. Others had a sandwich or a huge salad. I endulged in a delicious sour dough crust pizza. Tried the Pompeii Pizza and added chicken. Very good. Not one ingredient over powered the other. The crust was delicious. Our party said that the salad portions were enough for two, quite tasty, and fresh. The waitress was very personable and took the time to visit with us a bit. It might have helped that we were the only customers in there late at night but it was a positive experience overall.

I ordered beef raviolis and let me say they were excellent the meat sauce excellent. But there was only eight raviolis for $14.99 not really a good deal if they put a few more raviolis in I would definitely order again but for eight raviolis definitely not worth $15

Pretty good pizza place. Great food, friendly service. Little bit on the expensive side I felt, but they’ve got some good daily specials and coupon/Groupon options that made it not so bad. Great ambiance inside, felt like the old sort of pizza places from back in the 90s. Just missing an old Street fighter machine or something.

Worst experience I had ever as a doordasher. After get a message customer’s order ready to pick up, been waited 35 minutes. And still not ready. Will skip delivery requests from here. If you want to wait forever, go to Red Boy Pizza Petaluma. Good luck.

Very nice people who let a meetup group of us meet there every Friday and every other Saturday to play boardgames. Many times they let us stay late to finish our long games. They have gluten-free pizzas, which are a life-saver for me. And the pizzas are delicious.
