Well, not the best experience today. The tuna stuffed tomato salad was pretty good. Nice tomato but not enough tuna salad for the price. The club sandwich was not do good. It first came with bacon only on two regular sized slices if bread (with tomato and lettuce). I asked for the ham and turkey and they put about a slice of each on and bought it back. For $15.00, I expected more. The sourdough it came in was dry as well. A few days old for sure. It really felt like they were skimping big time in the meat for both meals. If prices were low I would understand. Bill with tip was $42.00. Two drinks, salad and sandwich. I expect more for that.

Prices on the menu don’t match what you are charged. No pricing on the check till after you cash out, and you’ll see you are paying more than what is on the menu. Owner got real wise once called out blaming the machine and getting defensive. I got part of my refund but once he mouthed off to my wife I had to leave. Horrible experience and would never go back there again. Highly recommend you check your itemized bill once you receive it. Scam artists there.

Hometown deli in the quaint town of Murphy. Homemade chili was rich and hearty. Julie was very helpful with the menu and service came with a healthy dose of Southern charm, grace and a genuine smile.

Quaint, local deli offering a selection of signature salads, overstuffed and combo sandwiches, wraps and the legend Mountain sandwich with one lb. of corn beef and one lb. of pastrami piled high on rye. Traditional decorated interior with original hardwood floors, collectibles and even an original pay phone. Even the clean bathrooms were nicely decorated. The Rueben came hot with deli fresh corned beef sliced thin and piled high, sauerkraut, Swiss and homemade Russian dressing. The rye toasted to perfection and the side of potato salad was creamy with plenty of flavor. Staff were friendly and very apologetic, as they were short staffed and the loss of my order resulted in over a hour wait. They were so overwhelmed they closed early. Take the time and support your local businesses.
