Most recent review: We’ve been here a couple times since the last post and I’m happy to report, they’ve redeemed themselves. Food has been much better, service has been excellent. Red Cactus is a great little place offering Mexican fare. We had a fantastic afternoon out on the patio with attentive service and delicious food. We split a pitcher of margaritas and our food came out hot and fast. The server stopped by now and then to see if we needed anything, but our table was set. Thank you for a great Saturday!

Service was fantastic. We got seated, and had our food in less then 10 mins. We where in and out in about 24 mins. But not rushed at all: just super fast. Will definitely go again. Always a plus when they have corn tortillas too for those of us who have gluten issues.

We just attempted to eat dinner at the Southport Road Red Cactus. My husband went to the restroom to wash his hands where he encountered an employee exiting the stall after using the restroom WHILE wearing his gloves. He came out and washed his gloves, my husband followed him out and witnessed the employee get our chips and salsa and deliver them to our table in the SAME GLOVES.

We are in town for my aunts 94th birthday. It was cinco de Mayo and we knew it would be busy. We were able to pull tables together in the bar for 7 of us. Edith was a love. We thought enjoyed her!!!

The manager was extremely rude. We had a party of 19 and they would not seat us outside. They said it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait At 45 minutes we still see open tables enough to fit us outside and was told that they would not make as much money as if they were to seat individual families.. our food did not come out right nor our kids drinks…. We had to get our drinks from the bar … we still tipped the bar 10 and our waitress 20 dollars but we as well as our friends will be boycotting this restaurant in the future
