In 2015, The Red Fox Restaurant Group opened its first location as a Mediterranean/American restaurant in Middletown, CT. We have since opened Fox Bone In Prime in Cheshire, CT and our newest location here in Glastonbury: Red Fox Prime Steakhouse. Our locations have diverse dining experiences including a dining room, bar, banquet room and alfresco dining on a patio – often accompanied by live music. The bold and delicious food hints at the Montenegrin roots of its chef and owner, Fico Cecunajanin – though he’s expertly adapted to cooking Italian cuisine.

1st time here for my wedding anniversary with my wife and kids. Ordered some wine which was very good along with the Scallops Porto to begin. Very tasty and unique compared to other similar restaurants. For entrees we got the Brazino Sea Bass, Salmon, and Carbonara. All were fantastic! The sauces for the dishes were exquisite and it may have been the best carbonara I’ve ever had. Really impressed. For dessert we had some good champagne along with a lava cake and tiramisu. The lava cake was cocoa heavy (not my preference) and the tiramisu was very delicate and tasty. Service was very good. It’s a relatively small dining space although there may be more seating we couldn’t see. Nice music with covers of popular songs provided a nice ambiance. Outdoor dining is available and would be interesting on a nice afternoon/evening. All in all I was very impressed with everything and would definitely go back to try more!

9 of my family members were here for an anniversary dinner on a Wednesday night. The food was excellent and our waiter, Harry was even better. I had the filet mignon, brussel sprouts as well as a wedge salad and the only thing that I will say is I ordered my steak medium and it certainly came out medium rare. I am certain that it wasn’t that my judgment that was off because someone in our party also ordered the same steak, but medium rare and our steaks were exactly the same. I didn’t send it back or anything, and I didn’t say anything either because the steak was so good to begin with. I’m adding a few photos of some of the meals at our table.

What a place to experience! From the beginning of service until we got up to leave was amazing. The staff has a welcoming and friendly attitude which made the food more enjoyable. The lamb and Mac and cheese were top notch while the dessert was absolutely unforgettable. I think my family and I have found a new dining establishment for brunch, lunch and dinner. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I went there once and just had to go back a second time. The food was absolutely delicious! We both got the 24 ounce ribeye steak. It comes out sizzling and cooks right in front of you on a hot plate to how you like it. The second time we went there our server was named Gioulian. He was kind and attentive to our needs and gave great recommendations on the foods from on and off the menu. Before our bill came he was so kind as to buy my husband and I a drink. He wanted to make sure our time there was comfortable and relaxing. Plus great food! Highly recommend this restaurant!
