Our regular sushi place was closed so we tried Red Ginger. It was nice, had a new server who recommended her fav roll, I think it was the Tuck Tuck, fried calamari was the center of it and it was excellent. Not wowed by anything else, but respectable sushi and our soups hit the spot.Miso and I had the onion. Very good customer service and nice atmosphere.

Masks are required and staff wears them. Food was very good. I had never tried Kimchi and it was a new experience my friend did not enjoy it because it was too spicy for her however I love spicy food. All of the dishes we tried were very good. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

From start to finish this place was great. Gyoza was fried and juicy. Entree was the pork belly ramen. Broth was delicious, a hearty amount of noodles and a GENEROUS amount of pork. Best part was the waiter listened when I said I liked it HOT HOT. Normally restaurants tend to air on the side of caution with spicy food. They listened and made an effort to make the food to my liking. Even bringing extra sriracha and chili powder just in case. Pricing was very reasonable. Would absolutely come here again.

My cousin and I were both excited to find a red ginger since we had both red very good reviews about this particular restaurant. She ordered the chicken teriyaki and I ordered the shrimp tempora. Both dishes came with a salad and soup. Unfortunately the soup that we ordered was extremely salty And basically unedible. The salad with a gingy dressing was very good. And we both raved about our dishes. The service was spot on we were very thirsty and he was always there to refresh our drinks. He did apologize for the salty soup. It would have been nice if he had brought us something more edible. The shrimp tempora was more than I could eat and very well done . I enjoyed the fact that nothing was greasy. I did not find the atmosphere very welcoming and perhaps that is because it was very dark and this was during the day. The great service did make up for the lack of atmosphere. I would definitely return to a red ginger. I am so sorry that I did not take photo of the food because it was really worthy of a photograph. My only excuse is that I was so hungry I just wanted to dive right in.
