If your looking at your Google map the red lion is where the assisted living place is and there is No Assisted living building adjacent to the star hotel. All in those buildings are the Red Lion. Also, the address listed ? wrong for the entrance. That would be on. The 2100 w fairview ave., Not 2222. My friend lives at the 2200 w fairview Apts. And google is wrong. The Red Lion is on the right not the left.

Sara at the desk checked us in and she was awesome. She gave us ideas on what was around us to do. Answered all our questions and was friendly. Thank you Sara!

Old hotel and the floors of the room were sticky. Hair was in the sink. Front desk staff was ok but obviously bored.

Awful hotel. Air conditioning wasn’t working very well and it was 100° in Boise this week. Our room was close to 80° even at night. In our first room, the remote was missing and when we got a replacement, the volume still didn’t work. The refrigerator was also not working. After the first night we spoke to the front desk and they moved us to another room. Both rooms were missing luggage racks, which seems like a real simple thing for a hotel to provide. Rugs in the hall were stained. This is obviously an old hotel that needs a refresh.

I get that this is a cheap hotel but seriously it’s in bad shape! I wish we would have just paid another $20-$30 a night and stayed somewhere a bit nicer.

NOT KID FRIENDLY! Won’t get cooler than 73°, the water i filled the tub with to give my baby a bath is GREEN, you have to pay extra for breakfast ($40 a day extra) on top of the $600 i already paid for 3 nights, the elevators are boiling hot and slower than u can imagine. Will probably ask for a refund the heat alone is unbearable. What a nightmare. The only good thing was the girls at the front desk. With several people complaining about the heat alone, these girls stayed professional and kind and did what they could to help.

Food was bad………. the beef, vegetable, noodle dish was bland and tasted like it had soy sauce with sugar added to it instead of a decent terriyaki. The chicken in the half chicken dinner was ok, but not tasty. They ran out of baked potatoes so I had to have ‘grilled’ potatoes, which was a mix of potatoes, bacon and peppers. They were swimming in oil/grease. The grilled vegetables tasted burnt, or as if they’d been cooked on a grill that had something else burned on it. What’s worse, is the prices were very high for this mediocre food! Like $12.95 & $13.95.
