I am a local and this place used to be very good but has taken disgusting turns in the past year, I was dining in and was seated we’re I had a view of the waitresses station, when they would take food out to people and those people would leave they would stack up the used napkins and reuse them and send them back out with another dish, if you do go here check your napkins, absolutely disgusting. There food is not good I got the orange chicken and it came out cold, the service was terrible I ordered a roll as well and the waitress mixed up my roll with another persons roll, all around terrible experience.

This place was our go to in phelan, but it’s gotten very expensive, new cook doesn’t make Food tasty, and server/waitress (KATELYN) very very unprofessional and RUDE, NEEDS TO BE TRAINED in CUSTOMER SERVICE.NOT GOING BACK. It’s sad that Jay owner has this kind of staff working for him. It was nice when JayJay and Jessie worked there.

Ok… I lived in San Francisco area for many years and currently in Sacramento area for the past 16. When I come visit my parents in the high desert this is a must stop to eat. It is unbelievable that a restaurant of this food quality is in the middle of the desert in a little shopping center! Fresh, savory, athlete portions, inexpensive, great service! Whether a local or passing through….. STOP!

I have tried, REPEATEDLY, to give this place chance after chance. It’s just not good. Once we ordered to go and it was ok, and one of the fried salmon rolls was good. The orange beef is not good, not crispy like Panda Inn or other places but overly doughy like orange chicken. Even the sizzling rice soup was bad. How can you mess up a broth? I’ll tell you, by making it so sweet it tastes like a sugar broth. I don’t care that it’s one of the few local places, it’s just not worth it. Just drive a little further into Hesperia and there are plenty of places that are MUCH better.

The waitress forgot to bring the sauce and fried rice. And, some amounts of foods were too large to eat. Also, the salad I bit was too watery and kind of plain because I feel like they needed some better ingredients with condiments. Although the steak and chicken tasted better and more delicious because of their sweet flavor. So, I enjoyed eating them. Note: Please skip breakfast if you’re here to eat lunch in this restaurant. Or, if you’re eating here for dinner, then please skip lunch because there were too much food if you order the main dishes (not the appetizers). I’m not joking, folks. Period.

Weather food is way over priced for what you get. If it tasted good then I wouldn’t have minded. The crab wontons were burnt on top and the filling was bad. It was just a bunch of imitation crab and hardly any cream cheese. There was a big bone in the sesame chicken. The orange beef was so hard and dried out it was impossible to chew. The shredded piece in the picture is a piece I attempted to eat.

Very good food! We were very happy with our food, it was really tasty! The service was great and the food was ready quickly. Everything was really fresh and well prepared and super delicious. I’ve only been here once, so I can’t speak to the entire menu, but the chow mien is great, and the fried rice is absolutely delicious! This place is unfortunately not close to me, but I will definitely be returning. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some tasty food and great service!
