The Red Onion is the most delicious Mediterranean restaurant in Destin. My favorite dish is the nachos. They are mouth watering. Definitely order those. I love their Greek salad and baklava, too. Service is great. Food can take a little long, but it is totally worth the wait.

Loved this place through the pandemic. The food was sensational and tasty. A true gem! Now they have gone way down. Not sure if new chef or cheap ingredients, or both: My salmon kabob was clearly frozen, tasteless and several pieces clumped together and raw. The rice was over cooked and clearly sitting for a while. The hummus was under seasoned and bland. We also had falafel that wasn’t seasoned and was more of a tasteless fried ball. Please go back to the old way you did things and we will come back again and again. Otherwise, not going back again. It used to be amazing!

The food and service here are great! Needing to be gluten free is important for my health and the server checked with the kitchen and just about everything on the menu was naturally gluten free except for the feta cheese rolls, pita and meat balls. I ordered the butter filet mignon and it was amazing! We also ordered the Greek fries, tzatziki and hummus (so good!). My husband enjoyed the gyro plate and feta cheese rolls. Everything was super fresh as well. We had a great time and I feel great after eating here. Highly recommend you eat here!

The food was always amazing. We kept going back and ordered different meal. Unlike my husband who always ordered the same shrimp platter. I like to try out different things. The price can be quite expensive however when the food’s good then there’s nothing to complaint about. Server was always polite. This is the restaurant you need to check out.
