It was absolutely fantastic. My wife got the bacon burger and I got the Turkey hot plate with a side of corn nuggets. The kids both got the chicken quesadilla with tater tots. Everything was freshly cooked and cooked well. The waitress was great, kept our drinks full, and was pleasant to talk to.

You’ll find the remodel almost done. The detail in some of the artwork is tremendous, and a lot of work has gone in to making this little restaurant a fun place to visit. Soon the ice cream parlor will be finished, and could be finished as I’m writing this post. Take time to look around for a little fun things hidden in the artwork. Had a great time while we were there and great food.

Very friendly and food tasted delicious had the tenderloin dinner with sweet potatoes fries onion rings. Wife had tenderloin dinner with orkra and fries. Daughter had cheese burger with mac and cheese. Also bought a appetizer of little smokes wrap in bacon in a brown sugar sauce. Kiddo loved them…

I love this place. As a kid, my grandfather would take me here every time we were in Polo, so it’s very nostalgic to me. I visited a few years back and the food was just as good as I remembered. Just good country-style food.

Service wasn’t great. Had a new kid working. Food was ok. Got dessert, chocolate cake a la mode it was dry. My daughter got her dessert cinnamon roll a la mode, the cinnamon roll was hard as a rock. The ice cream frost bitten.
