A total gem of a find. Family owned with fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere. The garlic Edamame have a little kick but the flavor is great. I ordered the masago (smelt eggs). The portion was a little small, but the taste was good. I also tried the wonton poke, (Spicy tuna on a bed of seaweed on a wonton shell.) It too has a kick. So delicious! Last but not least was the salmon skin salad. Now, this wasn’t on the menu, but I saw it on their website and they said they could make it for me. It is GREAT! I told them to put it back on the menu- it is that good.

Good sushi, not good prices. We came here on weekend after it opened and it was a bit empty. We ordered 4 dishes. The Lobster Fire roll looked great as on pic. Salmon Skin and Calamari were great appetizers. Sashimi and sushi included 9 pieces and they were fresh. Food tasted fine but the sashimi for the portion it was very expensive. It was $45 for 9 pieces which we can get the same for $16-20 at other places. Overall, we spent $80 for 2 people not including tips. The prices dropped our stomachs from heaven to hell. I would not go back.

Honestly I love this place so much. The staff is always friendly and funny. We always have a great time. The food is so amazing especially when sitting at the bar. Every time we check out I’m always shock because I always expect more because of the quality of the food. Thanks Red Sake for always satisfying my picky taste bud.

Service and food are excellent. If you tried this restaurant when they opened years ago, whatever you may have thought of this restaurant then, it is so much better now. Amazing rolls that taste so delicious! The servers are very attentive and the chef desires to give their customers a high quality experience. The sushi here is better than a lot of the other sushi bars in the area. I have several favorites but I like the Lobster on Fire the most. It literally is on fire when they bring it out.

We always had great experiences in Red Sake. Their sushi are top of the line. It tastes amazing. The owner was very friendly. Of course they did a pretty good job following the covid protocol. It’s a must go restaurant if you like sushi.

When you talk about sushi in garden grove, you might not be able to think of outstanding ones. There’s no question that Tin, the owner of red sake, has done an excellent job. The quality and freshness of the fish is amazing. And some of his creations, eg, urchin with shima-aji, it’s a wonderful combination that blended so well and melted in your mouth. Next time when you are around this area or even if you are not, it’s worth stopping by. We will recommend salmon belly, shima-aji, aji, black snapper, hamachi belly, pretty much everything.

This restraunt was so delicious. We ended up getting 3 more orders of all of our food because it tasted amazing. The waiters and waitress were extremely nice to us, and always made sure the little kids were entertained. I reccomend trying the salmon sashimi which I thought tasted great. Most of the dishes that we ordered that had salmon tasted perfect.
