Stopped here on my way to Stuart, VA for breakfast on a Sunday. Great little local dinner with good food and prices! Got the breakfast special (2 eggs with either bacon or sausage and biscuits/gravy or grits/toast) with hashbrowns added on and a tea. Total was $7…you can’t get just a biscuit and drink at a fast food place for that amount any more! Will definitely be back to this local diner!

The food was ok but the service was not. The person taking orders stopped taking orders and made us wait while she answered and took a personal call that lasted quite a while without any urgency as more people lined up behind us. I would have ordered a plate lunch but thought I should stick with a sandwich since it was so long ordering. No menu was in sight, we had to request a munu twice before finally getting to see one. When the canned soft drinks were brought to the table, they were hot, no cup or ice was offered and we had no opportunity to request it as she hurried away. If I had not been with others, I would have left and done without. I won’t be back any time soon, if ever.

Things have changed a little since eating here. You now order your food at the counter when you come in go sit at a table and someone brings your food. I reccomend the hand patted burger, not the regular burger which is ok.
