One of the best meals of my life. Location, staff, food was outstanding. A real treat for a special occasion. Inside Holbrook Inn which is equally as amazing.

Redbook was excellent across the board from service, to food, to wine pairings.

Beware: The web site for the restaurant and restaurant reservation doesn’t include the word “Redbook”. Everything is as if the restaurant is named “Hillbrook”. Even when you book a table, you book a table for “Hillbrook” not “Redbook”. I thought that the restaurant must have been renamed, but no– the newly printed menu at the restaurant itself says “Redbook”.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at (and I’ve eaten at many). We’ve eaten here twice, once this summer, and again more recently to celebrate my birthday. We specifically stayed in the area so we could dine at this restaurant. The chef’s tasting menu is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine dining with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. I loved that we were given two complimentary courses with the tasting menu option (the oxtail ragu we got was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten). We also appreciated how knowledgeable and accommodating staff were during our dining experiences. The atmosphere is charming and beautiful, especially in the winter months. It is clear that Redbook cares about making each guests experience a memorable one, and we will be back again soon.

Our 4-course tasting menu (with a bonus 5th course) was excellent — definitely Michelin-star quality, delicious tastes, beautifully presented, graciously served, generous portions. Kudos to Chef Jan!

Such an amazing experience! Some of the best food I have ever eaten! My boyfriend had called 24 hours in advance of the reservation to give them my dietary restrictions, I do not like seafood. Well it turned out that 3 of the 5 courses contained seafood. My substitutions were delicious and I was completely satisfied but I tried some of my boyfriend’s tuna and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive as well making it an all around exceptional experience. We will definitely be going back!

Decided to try this place because I was staying at Hillbrook Inn. This is the most expensive meal I’ve ever had, it was very tasty. The portions were good, I was almost too full for dessert. The menu varies weekly, so I suggest checking it out on their website prior to arrival. The menu I tasted was phenomenal, and had a nice variety of flavors to it. As far as the wine pairing it was necessary for me to go with it because I have very little knowledge about wine and wouldn’t know what kind to order. If you’re someone who’s well versed you could skip the pairing and just order from the wine menu and it would cost about half of what I paid. My server was Ty, she was awesome and attentive. She noted that I didn’t like sweet wines and changed up the wine pairing to adjust. I appreciated that a lot.
