We offer fine mountain food at fair prices, in a casual dining atmosphere suitable for everyone. We also have a great list of craft beer and select wines. Our patio is a great place to relax and soak up the view during summer for lunch or dinner.
We try to be a place for everyone to enjoy.

If you want a great selection from coq a vin to fresh fish to elk and beef burgers, try this elegant rustic restaurant. We were not very hungry so just had the burger but want to come back for their other offerings. Nice choice of beer, hard cider and wines as well.

Great atmosphere and food. The Elk Burger and fries is a must. Delicious Salads and desserts as well. Full bar, beer and wine… cheers!

We enjoyed a perfect breakfast here. There was no wait, and the patio was perfectly pleasant. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The menu is concise but has enough of a variety to please everyone – at very good prices. Our meals were delicious. Highly recommend it!

We dropped in for dinner half hour before closing. Dining room can seat 16 but it would be tight. There is additional seating outside when the weather is nice. No menus. The menu is a giant chalk board. My chair had its back to the menu so I had to stand in the middle of the restaurant till I decided. The lighting was way too dim. I could barely see the wonderful meal they prepared. The food was great and atmosphere felt like you walked into a friend’s house for dinner. Definitely would recommend if you have a small group.

This is a fantastic spot. We stopped in for breakfast, and the greeting was warm. We were immediately seated- no line! The atmosphere is casual, the staff is friendly, and the food is great! The portions of food are generous and the price is just right. Definitely give this place a try!

The owner Wes is amazing!!!!! So friendly and intelligent. I like his philosophy. Ask him about Scottish food sometime. The bagels are superb. I’d definitely go back but afraid this is the last weekend the restaurant will be open. Crying profusely….

Quaint little restaurant with a homey feeling serving up surprisingly complex food. The menu changes constantly depending on what’s available leading to an always-unique experience. Great service too!

Had a nice dinner yesterday. Would have been 4 stars. But went back again tonight to sit outside and have a beer. Maybe have dinner again. Owner was talking to a seated table on the veranda. 4:54 pm. “Is it okay if we take a seat?” “Not open until 5”, owner. “It’s 4:55,” me after a long day of hiking and looking at the people already seated. “We don’t open until 5,” owner. “5 o’clock. Like we have written on the Marquee… Go look… ” How rude can you get? My wife and I have been in the restaurant business and hospitality at nice places. The only proper answer was, “sure, take a seat. We’ll be open in a few minutes.” So we went across the street to the mountain village restaurant. Great meals and service. Great value! Thanks red square dude for being rude!

We had a terrible experience here. To be fair the power was out, but a high quality restaurant could have smoothed over issues with complimentary items. A few low points (among many)

The first time my wife and I went there the food was great and the manager was nice and prompt. The second time we went, We arrived right at 5pm and almost had to sit at the bar to get the managers attention. When he finally acknowledged us he was not in the mood for customers (I guess). Minutes later another table came in and the other staff came out to help. I ordered the special and was told they were out (this was 10 minutes after they opened, come on!), Ok I will have the elk burger. When the burgers arrived (3 of the 4 of us ordered them) their two burgers were medium well and mine was medium rare (boo, I learned a long time ago when I worked in the restaurant business that you don’t send your good back for more cooking, you get “extra” things added to your food when you do that.) This will be the last time I go there and as the manager of a “high end” restaurant can you were something better than a t-shirt everyday.
