Be aware, no breakfast served after 10:45am. We were a bit surprised as most cafes serve breakfast all day. They offer French’s non-GMO ketchup and mustard and honey sourced from Northern MN.

The chicken sandwich was SO FRIGGIN GOOD! Waffle fries were amazing and the staff was INCREDIBLE! Only drawback was I spilled pop on myself, which was my fault, not the restaurants. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I’ve brought my kids here for breakfast a few times and the food is always great. My dad and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday and the dining room was quiet. My dad asked for a salad that was a bit different from the menu offerings and they were happy to make it for him. I tried the special of cheeseburger, fries, and coleslaw and it was seriously the BEST burger I’ve tasted in years. The bun was perfectly toasted, the cheese was melted, the burger was cooked perfectly, the pickles were delicious…I ate every bite! The fries were hot and crispy on the outside—perfection! I’m told these burgers are sold at the beach concessions building on St. Olaf lake in the summers–but I’m not waiting that long to go back for another 🙂

Fantastic place to eat. We took a weekend to get off the beaten path and found the Red Leaf. Portions we’re big, coffee was amazing and my husband had a juicy burger. I love when a restaurant serves tator tots! Service was wonderful!
