Food is good, but I wish they had an actual server though. All the tables in here are disgusting and haven’t been cleaned all day. Plus the water cups are stacked and still wet like they just came out of the dishwasher with little care. You could tell there was mold growing in the bottom water cup that had been sitting with moisture trapped in it for a few days. Plus they covered up the water filter with a sticker to make sure no one saw they hadn’t changed the filter ever. With negligence and deception on the cleanliness for these external facing things, it makes you question how sanitary the kitchen actually is…

EDIT: From 3 to 1 star. The prices have gone up, to be expected in this economy. However, they are the prices of a middle-end establishment in a big city; somewhere you would expect the service to be half decent.

I really enjoyed my food here. I had an awful meal at a restaurant down the street and came to redeem my saddened pallet. There was a wait but the kitchen was clearly working hard. Service was friendly. I ordered the farm boy breakfast. The oat cakes were so good. They were the perfect balance of pancake and warm bowl of porridge. There was great flavor without the syrup but adding it made them perfect. Eggs were very well cooked and the bacon was awesome. Really turned my day around.

Such a cool place with lots of different food and grocery options. I ordered a quinoa bowl, which was good, but took a solid half an hour to come out. In addition to this, our server was incredibly rude and unfriendly, and her customer service was VERY lacking. The workers at the store were kind and helpful, but the server/cashier at the kitchen definitely tainted the experience.

I’ve loved this place for years. The pies are phenomenal as well as their healthy options. I spent $36 today on a small juice and a bowl. Ate the meal slowly and savored every bite. I won’t be back for a while.

I really wanted to love this place… having a great kitchen with fresh food just a walk down the road seemed perfect, but this place doesn’t really season their food or participate in quality control whatsoever. If a mistake is made and brought to their attention, they basically shrug it off. Feels like they recruit whatever teenager will work for minimum wage and just hope that the good ingredients can offset the penny-pinching on hiring. At this point, I’m convinced that the positive reviews on here are simply due to the hipster elements of things like unpasteurized milk. For the record I’ve been here at least 20 times, with only one truly worthwhile experience. Avoid at all costs. Plenty of fabulous local places down or across the street that deliver quality food with consistent results for less money

My first experience here was great so I was happy to come back. The second time not so much. The service was lack-luster and very slow. They were out of many significant items, including fries. My sister who has celiacs was excited because they have so many gluten free options, but she couldn’t even have any of them because they are all prepared on the same surfaces as food with gluten. They shouldn’t advertise gluten free if they aren’t actually GF. Very unimpressed.
