Red’s was great! Nice location on the corner. Plenty of great views of downtown Loomis, and people watching to do while seated. Reservations are recommended, but we were seated quickly as a walk-in around 7:00 p.m. on a Monday evening. Great atmosphere inside, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious from start to finish. I’d recommend coming here with enough time to take a walk downtown after dinner. It is a beautiful small town to explore.

First time having lunch at Red’s; dinner here is very nice and elegant. Lunch has a nice casual feel. Good burger and steak sandwich. Fries are good. Service was very good and friendly. Only negative that turned out ok: I asked for burger to be cooked medium and it was medium rare, leaning more towards rare. Still tasted good, but some might send that back, so watch that meat, chef.

Stopped here for an early dinner on our way to the coast and was not disappointed. We have eaten dinner here at least 4-5 times and each and every meal has been consistently excellent. This time I had their mixed green salad which is a good sized salad dressed very lightly with fresh and tasty ingredients. Ordered their special filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. Service is outstanding too! Great to wine available by the glass or the bottle.

A little overpriced. I ordered seafood stew had only 2 shirmp but lots of mussels and clams. No bread on table ,cost $8.00 for a small loaf. Nickel and dime stuff. But the food and service staff are great.

Elegant place with great food. It was full for lunch, a good sign that it is well known and respected. I had the blue cheese and bacon mac and cheese. Excellent. My wife had the chicken pot pie and loved it. Good beer too. We even met Red, the owner. A big, gentle guy. Great place.

Sat at the bar top in front of the kitchen. The owner, Russ, came over and introduced himself and chatted for a bit. Very friendly atmosphere. Waitstaff was very attentive. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.

This place is gorgeous inside! The menu is a foodie one. I had the Miso Bread Pudding & my whole family had food envy. Plus our server (who’s name I’ve forgotten, but she was lovely) was perfect! We never wanted for anything. It’s great to see places like this opening up in Loomis! #EatLocal
