The best cheese curds I’ve ever tasted. HUGE portions with high quality food. Low price considering portion. Food tastes very real (not like fast food) Location is perfect, right on the side of the road at a stoplight. Great service, friendly waitresses.

When we lived in the area we stopped by on average once a week. I ate the same smoked salmon salad on every visit. We obviously enjoyed it because we went so often. However, yesterday we found ourselves back in the area and thought we would stop in. The business apparently sold in January and it’s under new management and the change is obvious. It was more expensive and the quality of food is nowhere near as good. The best I can say is the food was mediocre at best. Which is unfortunate, when we visited regularly we had family visit from out of state so we went there and they enjoyed it as much as we did. I seriously doubt we will return.

Ashley good waitress needs to be a bit more attentive after food is delivered! some items on buffet were cold! bread pudding excellent along with chicken! room for improvement but all and all pleasant experience!

We were just passing through town and stopped at this place because in our experience it’s usually the little diners with the best service and the best food and this again was the case with this restaurant. Sunday’s buffet was good and if we ever pass through again we will definitely try something else on the menu. Good food, good price, good service!

Great local joint, it takes me back to my hometown when I come here. The more classic feel and the older look, I enjoy it. The breakfast buffets on weekends tend to be very busy. The ice cream is to die for and very reasonable! Do not leave without a cone.

Walked in the front door and wasn’t greeted by anyone nor did I see a sign to seat yourself. Tracked someone down and asked. Sat down at the cleanest table I could find and waited about 8 minutes before a waitress cane to the table. There were 4 non bussed tables and about 3-4 waitress/staff sitting around in kitchen and up front. We finally ordered oj and waters then proceeded to the buffet. Food looked great. Got back to table and began eating and everything was cold to barely warm (health hazard). Neither of us could finish so I went to pay and waited another 5 minutes while being ignored by one of the waitress staff. When she finally came to the register I asked for the bill and she (our actual waitress) asked what table I was. I explained where I sat and after about a minute and her asking what we had she then realized “oh, you were my table”. I don’t expect perfect service and don’t typically write bad reviews however if I feel the food to be a health hazard I think it needs to be spoken. The temperature of sausage, eggs, gravy and other items were way below the standards. I guess the eggs and the gravy would be the biggest concern. Sorry not sorry reds. People BEWARE!

Went there this past Sunday. Service was very good but the food was terrible. My wife had a bison burger and I had a paddy melt. Mine had no taste, probably a frozen burger and my wife’s bison was not what she expected. Too much is said about these small town off beat cafes and much of it is over hype!

Love this quaint small town cafe! Staff is friendly and no most of their clientele by name. They definitely welcome their customers. I am fortunate to have had only 1 unpleasant server in the years I have been going there. And Good old fashion comfort food!
