We hit traffic going to OC but checked in and headed down to try this restaurant. The food was good and our server was very nice. The size on the shrimp scampi that I ordered was big. I was very surprised and happy. Flavors were all there.

Fish tacos were probably worst I’ve ever had. Kids said the chicken tenders and fries were good. Crab dip with pretzels was just ok, nothing special. Also the frozen drinks had no alcohol, basically was a virgin frozen drink.

Food was awful, service ok. Our Nachos were brought in tin pan with very little sour cream and guacamole. Plastic plates to eat our food. Even my 8 year old Grandson said his hamburger didn’t taste good.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean. Ice rink with music. Free ice show daily and other events. Ocean front. Parking garage indoor pool. Food wasn’t too great though. Here is every picture I took on hotel property.

I have been visiting ocean city for years for vacations with friends and family members. I have always loved the summer time but the off season vacations were just as great because it wasn’t as busy and I knew I would always find a good hotel for a good price! This was NOT the case with the carousel. I remember staying here as a teenager when it was $300-400 a night during the summer and that was a lot of money to me back then. Years later I am visiting again as an adult and am extremely disappointed (see pictures below) I understand with Covid business are short staff but they shouldn’t be overcharging for the rooms they simply can not keep clean. We were hoping the advertised indoor heated pool would at least be a nice place for us to relax but that once again was not the case. The pool was cold and did not look like it had been cleaned in weeks. The hot tub was also just pool water with jets on and a dirty garden hose pouring out hot water from a sink in a closet. To say the least we were not happy with our stay and will not be giving this hotel our money again.

I was pleasantly surprised, my Prime Rib was cooked just the way I like it & you can’t go wrong with a baked potato . The service was EXCELLENT. It was a convenient stop as we were staying in this Hotel ️

Dined at Reef 118 twice lately. Each time it was a week night. Perhaps that’s why it wasn’t crowded, and the service was super-fast. Waiters John and Salih were very attentive and courteous. Each admitted it was his second day on the job, but both did really great. We had crab soup, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and prime rib. Everything was very good.

Stay away!!!! Just came back and we had 4 rooms and ALL were filled with black mold and musty smell. We couldn’t breathe and hotel couldn’t do anything but told us the rooms would be painted when we check out — SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! For the amount of money we spent on rooms we expected more than that. AC’s did not work properly. I read reviews about the mold issue at this place but figured it couldn’t be true — TRUST ME ITS TRUE

Yes I was put in a handicap room even though my reservation stated two adults and two kids. I found bed bug fecal spots around top of door frame and a bug go behind top door frame. I mentioned my concerns to front counter which I was told the general manager would call me that was Sunday and it’s now Wednesday nothing. I work for the health department in Maryland guess I’ll take matters in my own hands since customer service is not a priority. Don’t stay here.
