Had a dinner gathering with friends on a Saturday evening and managed to land the long table at the back. The garden view with the tropical plants really set the mood. The menu, filled with Mexican classics, is straightforward and commendably, almost entirely gluten-free – a big win for our diverse group.

Dinner was delicious. I had the chili relleno which was filled with veggies and came with beans, rice, and house made tortilla. I loved it. The relleno has a delicious red sauce on it and was super stuffed with veggies. The chilli as well cooked and the rice was really good too. I also loved the tortilla. I’ll be back to order this again.

The tacos de pastor are out of this world!! and the tres leches cake was fantastic!! They were both so unbelievably delicious that if i am ever in the neighborhood again, I’m going to get the same two things from this place without another thought. Good value too, compare this restaurant’s 3 street tacos for $11 with the price $27 for 4 at Tacolicious around the corner.

This was hands down the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten. We had no expectations, and googled ‘tacos on Valencia Street’, and walked into Regalito on a whim – we were certainly not disappointed. The cactus salad was fresh as you like, and the carnitas and fish tacos were SO good Highly recommend, and we had the nicest waiter too!
