I had a few people recommending this place, so I had to try it.

One of the best meals I have had in awhile. The employees are super nice and the environment is great. I had the chicken curry with roasted plantains, Mac n cheese, and forgot what my other side was. Everything was perfect and everyone in my family was very pleased. I also had me a few beers which were very nice with my meal. Will definitely come back with friends and family as I haven’t heard anyone mention it.

Wow, this place just keeps getting better! We’re crazy about the Goat Curry! One order with 2 sides (included) serves two, especially if you add a Patty (think British Pasty or Latin Empanada, nice pastry). It feels ’Mom&Pop’ and is definitely real home cooking! The nicest folks you’ll ever meet! Just go, bring a smile and an open mind -explore and enjoy!

I thought the food was pretty good, and I do like the selection of different foods you wouldn’t find at most other restaurants. I had the oxtail and the curry goat, with fried plantains as an appetizer, and I’d recommend each of them.

Delicious food and good selection. Not much seafood on the menu, but it’s Colorado, where we getting fresh ocean fish anyway? The other selections make up for it, so don’t be deterred. The lunch special is a great price for the portion size. Brown stew chicken is delicious and flavorful, the chicken was really tender. Great little dessert selection too. This gem of a restaurant makes me very happy.

This is the second Jamaican restaurant I’ve patronized since I’ve been living here since moving from the east coast. This place was amazing, and most importantly, AUTHENTIC!! The rum punch was delicious. The oxtails and curry goat was seasoned well and super tender. I appreciate that the food was prepared to enjoy versus for show (like the other Jamaican restaurant I’ve visited).

Back at Reggae Pot again but OH MY GOD! This place never disappoints. Jamaica away from Jamaica! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the Caribbean island. The colorful decor, pulsating reggae beats, and friendly staff make you feel right at home.

I found this place a few years ago and found it to be the most legit place near/in Denver for Jamaican food. Last Sunday I visited and was told they were out of oxtails. Drove 13 miles one way to get here again today for oxtails. How disappointing the oxtails were. Not tender at all, chewy as if undercooked or bad meat. Oxtail should pull away easily and melt in your mouth. Flavor was barely there. Cabbage could have been steamed a little longer. Mac and cheese was the tastiest. The recipe for it has been different on occasion and today’s is my preference. I paid roughly $30 for oxtail with 2 sides and a spicy patty.
