Reid’s is a simply remarkable establishment. Somehow, it manages to be even worse than Caviar and Bananas. The food is grossly overpriced, and hilariously under-portioned. If you want to leave with and empty wallet and an empty stomach, Reid’s is the place to go in Greenville. See: $13 Caesar wrap below.

Good spot for lunch. There are plenty of options for food choices. They have salads, hot bar with several meat choices and side items. The food is quite pricey. Very nice atmosphere for both inside and outside seating. Inside was clean. Lunchtime can get busy so be prepared to wait in line to order or at the register to checkout.

We loved it! The highlight of our dining experience was the free oyster roast they had for their customers! You buy a cocktail and start shucking unlimited oysters! It was hosted outside and there was lovely live music playing. It was a great atmosphere, everyone sharing oysters and good vibes! The food below is what we had for brunch and it was so delicious as well! The bagel sandwich and the biscuit bomb! Our second time and will definitely come here more often!

I finally made it! I had been wanting to visit the Charlotte location but since we were here in Greenville touring Furman University- and I noticed a young lady having a salad on Main Street and I asked where did you get that salad and she said Reid’s. I said to my husband- we need to go. We’re all hungry- no time like the present. I met Jennifer (she runs catering) she is so nice and friendly. Our son got a Greek salad and went straight outside but my husband and I explored the store. We went with a roast beef sandwich and a side of a broccoli crunch. Also added an interesting cola beverage to our order & the sour dough bread (pictured) that oh my goodness was so good.

Wish I could give 4.5 stars but 4 for room for improvement. Went with a group of 5 after church on a Sunday (expecting a decent wait time). It took 15 minutes to get our order taken and it was almost 2 hours from when we sat down until we left. My food was great. I had the breakfast plate. Definitely enough food. The truffle fries delivered to the table were cold. Tasty but cold

While downtown this morning, Tupelo had their 1-1.5hr wait so we decided to try Reid’s. The cashier was very nice while ringing us up but that’s where the positives end. We received our food: I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon – it came with lettuce and tomato on it, the bacon was cold and so over cooked it was crumbling, the chicken was dried out and incredibly thin. My husband ordered the Brunch burger medium, with bacon, no hash browns on it and grits. The grits were cold, not warm but cold, cold to where the cheddar cheese was cold on top. The brunch burger was well down, not medium, it came with hash browns on top (even though it requested to not receive them), and the bacon was burnt and overcooked. That was $50 for Brunch. The environment is nicely setup but the food in our first experience here was nowhere near worth it.

Cute little place but service and food were awful. The smell of my wife’s spinach salad was very off putting. The happy hour was BOGO draft beer. Went to order and was told they were completely out of draft beer even as I watched them hook up new kegs. Settled for can beer and was $8 a can… spend the extra $5 and go somewhere else.

First time visit. We came in and our waitress, Faith, let us know that the system to get tickets to the kitchen was down so everything may take a little longer. We didn’t even notice any prolonged wait. Our food was so amazing! I recommend highly the biscuit bomb and the BEC sandwich with grits and breakfast potatoes. Will definitely be back.

This is my second experience ordering from Reid’s, and I was sorely disappointed with this visit. I ordered the Nashville chicken biscuit, coconut pineapple cake and a vanilla oatmeal latte. The latte was really good and came quickly. The remainder took forever and they weren’t even busy. The chicken was way overcooked. The breading and biscuit fell apart with one bite. There was no hot on that Nashville hot chicken other than the temperature of it. The grits were good and creamy but had a little too much salt. That coconut pineapple cake had no coconut. I’ve had this cake from them before so I know what it should taste like. This was not it. It is good coconut cake but that pineapple puts it over the edge. Will I go back? Maybe, but I think I’ll stick with coffee and a pastry next time.

I enjoy this shop when I just want a snack or some of their pasta salad. Everything I have tried has been good. I would like to stop by and try their restaurant some time.
