It was a nice atmosphere, and they were only about three people. Once I arrived. I ordered the egusi+Goat and Jollof rice and a bottle of water. The rice was greatt and wonderful however the egusi and goat were not up to standard the goat was very tough to eat and lacked flavor. I asked the woman if I can exchange my dish as I only had been eating for about 2-5 min. The young lady often disappeared to the back which delayed my opportunity to ask for a different meal. She stated that she could not give me a different meal without charging me an additional fee for a whole new meal. I explain to her that I just spent $31 on my meal so why would I pay an extra $15. I did ask her if she can just charge me for the rice because I’ll actually like the rice and take the other dishes back. She explained that she couldn’t do that. I asked if there’s someone else in the building that could and she stated that her manager had just left for the day. She disappeared to the back and spoke to a male gentleman.

This place is nice to find good African food in Fort Lauderdale. The environment is really cool with afrobeat vibe. They have clean restrooms. I recommend it.

So I’ve been looking for a African restaurant near the area. I have tasted African food from my friend’s mom and it was amazing. I came in here and order some chicken egusi and fufu, And I came right when they opened, 12:00pm because I wanted the food to be fresh.. But the chicken tasted like it was fry and they just put sauce over it, It was very dry, And as far as the egusi it was my first time trying it And I just couldn’t get past the taste.. Maybe there’s just wasn’t good. The girl who took my order was very nice though.. I don’t know maybe I will just have to go back and try something else on the menu… But honestly the food wasn’t that great at least the dish that I had and it was over price 19.99 for chicken, And it just was not good at all For them to over price it..

The food was so damn good. The reviews scared me at first but I knew I had to check the place out and judge it myself. The egusi was so good nicely spiced and it wasn’t too oily overall the food was good. I didn’t care really for the customer service

This was my first time trying African food and I found this place on Google and I was super excited and while the food tasted great the customer service experience needed some work. So the first time here we decided to dine-in. We sat down and reviewed the menu and after about 10-15 minutes the decision was made but we were never advised that no one would come to our table and we had to go back to the counter to place the order. Now after 20 minutes we decided go back to the counter and order. I got the chicken and beef with Jollof rice and it was GREAT. The problem came with the wait for the order which was almost 30 minutes and then the waitress/chef forgot what the order was the begin with….twice which the waitress had to come ask and then a 2nd time to confirm what we ordered. Now the second time we ordered from here off of UberEats instead and while the wait was expected because it was being delivered to pompano the order was wrong. I ordered chicken and got goat.

Let me first say that I never had African food before and maybe my expectations were too high. However, I digress I had ordered the goat with jollof rice and the fish eugasi . I got more rice than goat meat and my paid 20.00. I didn’t mind the price because I know goat meat is not cheap but I got barely any in my plate . The Jollof was underwhelming. The fufu I was not a fan of and the fish eugasi just was okay. I spent about 40 dollars it wasn’t worth it in my opinion. Try it anyway you may have a different experience.

The food quality has gone downhill. This is the second time I received a order and the sauce taste expired and disgusting. The fish looks like something I wouldn’t serve my dog and taste awful. This place needs to be inspected for the quality of the food they are serving people. They also do not answer calls when you want to make a complaint.

The only issue I had with the food was the meat was tough. It could be cooked a little longer. But the flavor was on point. I will return because I love African food.
