Remas need to fill the combo tray. I almost asked for more rice when I felt my combo meal’s light. Ashamed, I waited until I got in the car, and it was half full. It’s only rice! They burnt my meat: metal disk bread, smeared hummus, and Salad that was not fresh, plus they charged more than advertised.

This was our first experience both of eating in Detroit and of Yemen cuisine, and what a great experience! The staff were all very welcoming and the food was fabulous. Recommend the lamb broth soup but all of it was delicious! Only disappoinment: the machine to make some of their date desserts broke the day prior so I didn’t get to try them and they sounded fabulous!!

The food is the best. Great bang for your buck. You can splurge here without breaking the bank and the quality is better than the average Mediterranean spot. The chicken shawarma sandwhich is one of my favorites. Other things I love here in no particular order hummus, lamb chops, grape leaves, wing dings, lamb soup, chicken shawarma salad. Everything on the menu is good.
