This is one of the amazing restaurants in downtown Stamford and we do like visiting again and again. Food is really good and service is very prompt. Pizza size is sufficient for 2 people. Pasta sauce is creamy and try adding Ravioli to it.

Fantastic! We went here for dinner with a big crowd on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy, but the staff seated us immediately. Our server patiently answered our questions and made good suggestions. I’d never had grilled calamari, so I tried it and it did not disappoint! Served on a bed of greens with balsamic dressing, it had a wonderful smokiness and was satisfyingly chewy without being rubbery. The mozzarella fritta starter got thumbs-up all around, too. My main of eggplant parmesan came with a side of pasta in pesto sauce (!) that was delicious, creamy, and hot. A fellow diner’s main of shrimp scampi came with several, surprisingly large shrimp. Another fellow diner’s veal parmesan was gone before I could get a photo. We ate outside and when it began to drizzle rain, our server extended the awning so we were still able to enjoy our meal. My one criticism is that the shrimp scampi came out much later than our other mains. That said, this is a welcoming, authentic place and I look forward to enjoying it again! Highly recommended all around!

Had a great experience ordering takeout from Remo’s a few weeks ago. Ordered a Margherita pie and a tossed salad. The salad was one of the best I’ve ever had from standard-issue pizza places. Pizza was alright, better than most CT pies I’ve had but still doesn’t compare to NY or NJ, although the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. Remo’s gets very busy in the evenings but overall a great spot for pizza if you’re ever in Stamford.

I have lived in Stamford for more than 10 years and Remo’s has always been my favorite pizza place in Stamford…and that will never change! I like everything on the menu from the New York Style Pizza to the Margherita Pizza. They also have great salad options! I love eating there because they have a great atmosphere, outdoor seating in the spring/summer, and they have very friendly, professional and service-oriented staff!
