This place is a hidden treasure! You have two options to order food: at the counter or for the introverts- by scanning a qr code at the table. The food was fresh and delicious. We both ordered the pick three option- I did coconut rice, spiced chicken and curry sauce. I am a total pansy when it comes to spicy food and I absolutely loved it. It was flavorful but not hot. My son got the coconut rice, butter chicken and curry sauce. We also ordered a curry puff that was spicy to my tender pallet but still really good. The burnt cheesecake was a perfect dessert. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was charming. We will definitely be returning.

I loved everything! The nasi lemak was so very delicious and tasted like home. The mamak mee goreng was exceptional too! The teh tarik was an icing on the cake, like the way it is meant to be made, rich and creamy. So happy to have Rendang in Lincoln! Will go back again and again for sure!

Great food, especially if you like spice. There’s lots of options and it isn’t too expensive. Service was fast and they had an online ordering option too. I got the chicken satay with coconut rice and peanut sauce. So tasty!

full review! I entered a bit on the late side but was met with enthusiasm by the wait staff. Menu is short, but lists ingredients with good descriptions. The price was great for the amount of food served. After asking my waitress what the proper method for eating my meal was, It was love at first bite! I’ll definitely be going back, and will be posting this review on google as well to help others find Rendang and hopefully give it a try! Five stars! Highly recommend!

Food was awesome. Tried all 3 apps and cant decide which one is my fav. Got the coconut cuisine which had an amazing spiced chicken and coconut rice. Never had chicken like it and have to get again. Friends got the ice tea and iced milo. Yummy sweet drinks with flavorful meals. Service was very fast so will recommend for office lunch dates.

Rendang Malaysian Cuisine is a Malaysian restaurant that recently opened in Lincoln, NE. Reportedly the first one in the Midwest, I’ve not found any others so far. Though as food from a multicultural country, it does fall under the umbrella of SE Asian cuisine, so it shares a lot of similarities with Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai food, which tend to be more popular in the States.
