When my husband retired he was given a gift card for this place, and we finally made it. Completely worth the drive from Gresham. Staff are super attentive and welcoming, great cocktails – pro-tip, try the punch – and the food was amazing. Along with a shared bread basket and whole leaf Caesar salad, I had a New York strip steak, medium rare, and hubby got the pork chop special. Both were generous portions and were served with sauteed veggies and Yukon mashed potatoes. We each saved half our dinners so we (kinda) had room for dessert, which was Creme Anglaise and cinnamon peach cobbler. As we left I noticed they had put up a sign indicating they were sold out for the evening, so don’t wait too late in the day – come early. I love finding new fave restaurants!

This place is a hidden gem. Top quality food and very warming service with a beautiful patio outside.

We were seated on the front patio, which has lovely surroundings. Grapevines overhead with huge tendrils, supporting luscious new grapes. Beautiful plants and potted flowers. Major issue with road traffic noise. It puts a damper on the otherwise serene setting. The food is very fresh and delicious, well prepared. My husband had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and vegetables and he enjoyed it. The salmon was equally good with a strawberry -cucumber relish, and fresh steamed vegetables.

This place is excellent!! We went twice, a quick 12 minute drive from Government Camp. Wonderful waitstaff, delicious food. The salmon with strawberry cucumber salsa was truly incredible. BLT was also great. Desserts….yum. Four berry crisp was amazing.

Ate here on recommendation from our B&B hosts. Great experience all around! The Maitre’D greeted us at the curb as we got out of the car, and escorted us to a table on the beautiful patio. Server was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Stopped by on the way back from Mt. Hood with my Wife and Son. My family is heavily tattooed and heavily pierced and we were treated better than family! From the moment we walked in we were treated with the most OUTSTANDING welcome!!! The ambience was calm and warm, the entire staff seemed more than delighted to be there, the artwork is all consigned by local artists that have captured the beauty of

Cozy atmosphere great service. However food has alot to be desired. Flavor profiles that don’t make sense. Stake so tuff might have been bought at 7-11. Burgers made by a chief who is afraid of things like salt, pepper, and spices. Second go around for me and the last

An institution on the mountain. Great people here. No better food, service or dining experience can be had. Been coming here for decades since living on the mountain years ago. Stop here every time after hiking or camping on the way back to Portland. Seriously fine dining at very reasonable prices.
