Service/experience: The environment was nice, though they only had one TV on. After sitting, we were greeted with a single, “hello” and waited a good while to get a menu. Keep in mind we didn’t get the option of “breakfast or lunch menu” so we resorted to paying too much for dinner meals, After our server came, we ordered and waited a good 10 minutes before we even got water, much more for our food. We saw our waiter for a total of 3 times before having to wait for the check.

I have past this restaurant many times in the past, but I’m glad that this time I stopped to enjoy their cuisine. This restaurant is located next to a convenience store, where there is plenty of parking for both vehicles and semis. The food options that are offered are a mix of Asian and American dishes. I went in to order their popular chow mein noodles and I enjoyed the meal. I definitely will come back to this local soon. It’s a must try for the fam if you are traveling through Wyoming on Interstate 80.

The Renegade is a funky little Chinese-American cafe located in Southwest Wyoming serving terrific homemade dishes to an eclectic clientele. Everything is fabulous from their Breakfast Omelettes, to biscuits and gravy to dinner items such as their Crab Rangoon and Singapore Chow Mein – which are two of my absolute faves off the menu. The staff is always pleasant and eager to serve, even with a full house. I’ve been stopping here for years on my way through town, and I highly encourage others to stop and grab a bite as well!

Service was excellent and super friendly! After traveling all day it was difficult for my family to decide between American or Chinese food so this was the perfect solution! They also had breakfast options in the evening if requested. Egg drop soup was delicious, as were the grilled cheese and Chinese dishes. A great stop away from the other chain restaurant options!

The soup is on the small side but im not mad at it. It was decent. I’m not going to lie the Chinese food wasn’t the best I’ve had. It’s not breaded like I’m used to so I guess that’s why I didn’t take to it. The sesame chicken was salty and wasn’t spicy at all. The sweet and sour didn’t taste like I’m used to. It was different. What was a winner for me was the noodle soup with pork . I’ll come back for that. Our waitress was sweet and polite. I gave it 4 starts because I liked the ambiance. It’s a small place and it had good county radio on. Update: I came back again and the noodle soup was amazing again. The dumplings were super delicious too. I bumped it to 5 starts. Breakfast burrito all the way!!! This is an awesome place to eat breakfast. We came through Rock Springs 4 weeks ago and ended up at this gem of a restaurant. We are now back again and loving the food. Definitely worth routing your trip through here . Super nice staff as well. Haven’t had lunch here , but from my experience I’m sure it is worth the stop.
