Heard a lot about this place and finally tried it for a friend’s birthday. Fantastic! Calamari and shrimp starters were delicious. Entrees included new york strip, mushroom ravioli and pork chops, and they were all wonderful. The sides are built for sharing. Solid dessert and drink menus. Timing of the meal was leisurely paced with outstanding service. We’ll be back soon and will spread the word!

Went for an impromptu date night. My other half and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Had a reservation, got there early and was able to be seated right away. Our server Heather was amazing. Very helpful and very personable. Our meal came out fast but yet spaced out enough to let us enjoy everything. When ordering drinks, they we made within minutes no long wait times. We will be back again.Thank you Heather once again, you made both of our night.

Simply fabulous. Amazing time. I ordered a rib eye (aged) steak and consumed an assortment of sides. Everything was perfectly seasoned. I had a few old fashion cocktails that were ok but not great (chicago vs wisconsin-made) but still good. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Recommend: Cognac cream as steak adder. You won’t regret it

Went here with my (now) fiancé for our anniversary 6-16-23 and it was my first time ever here! He let the staff on his idea to propose and they gave us a free glass of champagne to celebrate! Free dessert for our anniversary as well!! Pricey, but that’s to be expected with a steakhouse but the food was PHENOMENAL, I had so much to eat for leftovers. Staff was great, atmosphere was clean and dim perfect for fancy dining. Thank you for making this a great first experience for us, definitely on the list for every anniversary after 🙂

This was our first time coming here, it was for Father’s Day and for my spouses birthday that is coming up in 3 days, the waitress was amazing and nice, the food was also great & delicious, a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Would definitely come back to this restaurant again, the atmosphere was also great, we went pretty late around 8pm so we really enjoyed how it wasn’t so packed and just a very calm atmosphere. 10/10

The best restaurant in downtown! This restaurant is a little hidden and seems small but it will surprise you in many ways as soon as you walk in.. It starts with the service – our waiter was very nice, attentive and had great recommendations. The dishes are fabulous in every kind of way.. great portions specially for the price. Everything tasted delicious! Overall this is a wonderful intimate place to celebrate with your love ones or even just for a date night. We cannot wait to come back and taste other dishes!

Our group of 7 managed to make reservations at the wrong restaurant. When we showed up at Republic on a Monday night, they easily accommodated our party. The place was modern with lots of space. Our waitress was very attentive to us. We ordered a large amount of appetizers (tuna, beef, scallops, shrimp, bruschetta) which were all delicious and came out at the same time. Meals were pricey and came with a soup/salad. I had the reserve dry aged ribeye. My steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and was very delicious. My steak was quite fatty (a good distributed fat that melts in your mouth) which our waitress mentioned while ordering in case that wasn’t your preference. The flavor was great with the added garlic-herb butter. Everyone at our table ordered a steak of some sort and really enjoyed it. Some people’s steaks were a little more done than asked for but everyone still loved it. The dessert is HUGE and very good.
