Great dominican food restaurant. Excellent customer service. They just recently opened. My family and I were very pleased to visit it. Charlotte/Matthews area needed it. I recommend it to anyone who want to taste a bit of Quisqueya flavorful recipes. Now I know where to come to when I come to visit North Carolina and eat delicious dominican food.

My family planned a birthday dinner for a party of 15, reservations were made up to 2 weeks in advanced with a week follow up and the restaurant simply wasn’t prepared. Orders were placed and the food came out in random order. To make matters worst I didn’t get an opportunity to try the food because at the last minute the restaurant told me they didn’t have any more of the item I chose for dinner. My family enjoyed their food and said it was delicious. In the future an inventory should be conducted before agreeing to host a part of that size!!! Poor preparation and highly disappointing!!!

I was excited to finally have some Dominican food for lunch. To my disappointment, two of the appetizers I requested were not available. When I finally ordered the Mofongo with shrimps, the Mofongo was not fresh and had no flavor. In addition, my daughters sancocho had no taste and the maduros weren’t even ripe. To top all of this off, it was just my daughter and I and they charged a 18% gratuity fee for TWO PEOPLE. The food did not taste like authentic Dominican food. Won’t be returning.
