I heard about this unique dining experience through a chef influencer on Instagram. I was sold on his unique dishes and craft he bring to the Caribbean cuisine that when he mentioned the collaboration with Resident I knew I couldn’t miss out on this one. It was not what I expected but even more.. each dish was introduced and thoroughly explained from the artistic plating, inspiration and flavors tied into a childhood memorable story. Receiving a thorough background behind each meal presented made me appreciate this event even more .. Plates are small dainty and flavorful but a story behind each dish was memorable .. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Great experience overall

I went to a Resident dinner a few weeks ago for my boyfriend’s birthday and we loved it!!! I emailed the team a few days before to notify them it was his birthday – the day of, they welcomed him by name with a “Happy Birthday” and gave him a a specialty dessert and a signed menu from the staff. It was very unique and special. We loved the food and the wine pairings were great – it felt very exclusive and luxurious. I will definitely go again.

One of the most delicious and amazing dining experiences I’ve had in quite a while. Keep in mind that the menu and chef will almost always be a brand new one (which I find great), but the hospitality and ambiance will remain the same. Everyone was so welcoming and the feel was so perfect. Great lighting ,nice soft music , and comfortable spacing. Our chef (Justin Feliciano) and sommelier(Tomohiro Sato) perfectly explained the menus with great detail and a little comedic value. I would 10000% recommend for anyone and everyone to run on over if they enjoy excellent food,drinks, and hospitable service.

We had the pleasure of attending Chef Ian McHue’s tasting on 5/10/23 in Brooklyn. All I can say is that it was truly a special evening that I’ll never forget. All staff were so accommodating and personable. The Sommelier’s knowledge was impeccable. Chef Ian went to each table to insure every guest was enjoying their meal.

This was a wonderful surprise Birthday diner for my wife and it could not have been more special. Aside from the VVIP treatment in a unique environment of other people also having the same experience the food and wine were awesome. We met some really interesting New Yorkers while enjoying a very special 5 course meal with paired wine and a narrative from the chef and the sommelier. Chef Wing Villarias was wonderful. I highly recommend this experience.

I went to a Resident dinner recently…food and wine were all fantastic! Only downside was that I attended solo, and I was seated by myself at a table off to the side. I was surprised because there was chef’s counter seating and parties of 2 were seated with other parties.

What an incredible experience I was able to give our customers/prospects. I had the amazing staff/team Natalie Berman, Chef Connor Kaminski, and Owen L’Aquila.
